Why StaRosa

Sta. Rosa City is emerging as a thriving business, tourism, and investment hub outside of Metro Manila. It is home to four special economic zones that have attracted businesses. Major infrastructure projects improving accessibility, such as roads and railways, will further benefit Sta. Rosa by supporting more investments and master-planned communities in the coming years, cementing its title as the "Investment Capital of South Luzon."

Why Sta. Rosa City?

Manila would be the first thing that pops into people’s minds when the talk of progressive cities
comes up. Today, it’s not only the hectic, hyperactive capital that stands out. More cities
emerge to be equally thriving in business, tourism, and various aspects of modern life.

US-based tech giant IBM stationed Laguna as the location of another facility outside Metro
Manila. Located in Nuvali, the company has attracted local talents and made the area equally
competitive for business investments. At the same time, Sta. Rosa is home to four PEZA-
accredited economic zones, namely, Laguna Technopark, Greenfield Auto Park, Santa Rosa IT
Park, and Toyota Special Economic Zone. The city rightly lives up to its title the “Investment
Capital of South Luzon.”

Investments are set to pour into the cities to watch in the next few years, given the current
infrastructure developments in the area. Sta. Rosa will benefit greatly from accessibility
brought by CALAX, Skyway extension, North South Commuter Railway, and PNR South Long
Haul Railway. Experts see more master-planned communities rising in this region in the future.
