Activity Workseet 11.

Reflective Question
Name: Logo, Vince Andre L. Section: BSE 1-3 Date: January 26, 2023 Group no. 4

What did you learn about yourself as you worked on this activity?

Throughout this activity, learning it objectively is an understatement as I made realizations while

doing most of the exercises. I took the list of exercises personally to maximize the effect of
doing all of these in my daily life. Whilst doing some of the exercises, I felt the connection of
every nerve in my body to my brain as it triggered new learnings for every action that I made.

Even though I know the benefits of doing exercise on a surface level, learning the additional
information written in the module will not hurt. An example of additional knowledge that I’ve
acquired is that doing exercise can make your insulin sensitivity better, it can improve blood
glucose, and it can make your blood lipid profile healthier. I’ve also learned the default time for
warm-up and cool-down for effective muscular strength exercises. I used to just watch the
warm-up and cool-down videos on youtube and follow every step they make. Also, I learned that
your body needs at least 48 hours to rest before the next training session. This a new
knowledge for me.

Reading about the benefits of push-ups is also new knowledge for me. Even though I also know
the benefits and how to execute this specific exercise, it’s only surface-level knowledge. This
also applies to knee push-ups, bicep curls, and exercises in the lower body muscle and core
muscles. This made me realize that knowing the exercise thoroughly is always better as it gives
you new knowledge and it prevents any accidents that can happen in the future.
