Activity No. 1
1. "Generally speaking, I handle struggle well. I esteem variety and
comprehend that various individuals have various sentiments, which might
prompt struggle. When confronted with struggle, I work to team up with others
to determine the issue in a manner that is commonly gainful for all interested
parties. Once in a while, I can become protective while attempting to offer my
viewpoint. I'm rehearsing strategies to deal with this way of behaving, for
example, stopping to take a full breath and cautiously taking into account my
words prior to answering."
Struggle alludes to a conflict or contention, which can emerge in different
conditions and settings, including the work environment. At the point when
there is struggle, it's vital to comprehend how to explore and determine it. To
effectively determine clashes, you'll frequently have to peruse both verbal and
nonverbal correspondence prompts, to keep quiet and control your feelings and
attempt to figure out the place of the clashing gatherings.
1. Do you feel that war, violence and aggression are a natural part of
human nature?
School violence can be anything involving an actual or implied threat – it can be
verbal, sexual or physical and is committed with or without a weapon. If
someone intentionally hurts someone or acts in a way that makes someone feel
threatened, that is school violence.
2. Do you feel you can create a culture of peace in our school? If so, how
would you do that?
Yes, parents and teachers should work together to prevent school violence.
Also, encourage students to adopt safe practices. Try to repeat school policies to
children and let them know that recreational school violence can have
irreversible consequences. If your child shows signs of violence at school, contact
your child and notify school authorities about the matter. Also, if your child is
involved in school violence, seek help to help your child correct his or her
behavior.
3. How might we hinder the development of a culture of peace and respect for
diversity?
I believe that whenever there is an intentional or unintentional attempt to
eliminate, reduce, or minimize the cultural experience of a person or a group, it is
in the service of violence and oppression. That is, as peacemakers, we have an
obligation to create spaces of mutuality and cultural diversity as a universal
protocol to combat violence and oppression.

Success/impact metrics
1. How do these values and beliefs guide you in dealing with others?
Our personal values and beliefs have a powerful influence on our lives.
We often form beliefs about the world and ourselves at a very young age –
sometimes before we even know how to speak. These beliefs guide our lives and
decision-making, and many of them are unconscious, we learn them by
observing other people - parents, teachers, and culture. around us. As we get
older and start to find our own way in the world, we begin to form values about
what is important to us and how we want to live. Sometimes these values
conflict with our belief system – we may find ourselves stuck in one place and
can't figure out why. Our beliefs are in place to keep us safe and help us survive
as best we can in our circumstances, for this our beliefs will transcend our
values for until we become aware and we change them.
2. What happens when you encounter people who do not share the same
conviction you have relative to the three values and beliefs you feel
strongly about?
Different personalities have different cultural value systems for their way
of life. I find it more important to strive for self-improvement and care less
about how the world judges me based on my appearance. While some
values may stay with you throughout your life, many will change
depending on where you are in your life journey. Your values can change
as your life changes and can be a roadmap that guides you throughout
your life. You will grow towards more determination and your value-based
decisions will help you achieve your goals. We are constantly learning and
changing, and our values can adapt to meet our new purpose in life.
3 How do these values and beliefs affect your perception of and
attitudes towards others?
Attitudes and beliefs are part of who you are. They affect how you think, what
you do, and how you perform. Your background, education, experience, and
connections will all contribute to how you see things. Sometimes your attitudes
and beliefs can lead you to think that things are not fair or right about people. It
is important that you recognize this and develop self-awareness so that you can
learn to check if this is happening. You need to take the time to learn and
understand the different attitudes and beliefs of others so that you can work
with individuals in a way that takes them into account.
4. How do these values and beliefs guide you in your resolution of conflicts?
Creative problem-solving strategies are essential for adopting positive
approaches to conflict resolution. It is very important to develop the ability to
learn how to transform a situation where “my way or the highway” is into one in
which people envision elusive new possibilities. Conflicts tend to react based on
their perception of the situation, rather than an objective examination of it. This
is when a counseling intervention can help someone overcome their subjective
frame of reference. People then filter their perceptions and reactions through
values, culture, beliefs, information, experiences, gender, and other variables.
Conflicting reactions are full of ideas and emotions that can be very powerful
and powerful guides to our sense of the possible.
