∆ It was limited to a single system. It was less user-friendly. It has a lot of
manual work (A manual system does not mean that we are working with pen
and paper, it also includes working on spreadsheets and other simple
software)
∆ It requires more no employees to need to work. It was a time-consuming
process. The present system was very less secure. It is unable to generate
different kinds of reports.
∆The development of the new system contains the following activities,
which try to automate the entire process keeping in view of the database
integration approach. User-friendliness is provided in the application with
various controls.
∆ The system makes overall project management much easier and more
flexible. It can be accessed over the Internet. Various classes have been used
to provide file upload and mail features.
∆There is no risk of data mismanagement at any level while the project
development is under process. It provides a high level of security using
different protocols like https etc.
LIBRARY
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
∆The library management system is used for the management of transactions
of books.
∆It should have proper maintenance for new books and old inventory and
returning of books should also be there in the system for the accurate and
reliable count.
∆ It should be able to keep all the records of library members and everyone
who is visiting the library.
∆As now the world is digital so it should also have an e-book system in it
and users can be able to read books through online platforms.
∆It should be able to send notifications to the users and members like due
date, cancelation, etc. it should be able to create a proper table and store the
data.
HOSPITAL
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
∆It is very important to maintain efficient software to handle information in
a Hospital.
∆ This application provides a way to record this information and access
these in a simple way. ∆The existing systems provide the basic
functionalities needed to be handled in a hospital management environment.
∆There is no intelligence of the software in such cases, In the existing
system all the patient details, doctor availability details and regarding the
tests done to the patients prescribed by the doctor is maintained manually by
the receptionist.
∆If a patient has to be admitted we need to check the availability of the bed
which consumes lots of time if done manually. Also there is no proper search
technique to check the patient information.
∆It is very difficult to maintain all the financial management system and the
and the records which maintain doctor details, of the hospital by using this
existing system.
∆ There are also many loopholes when we look at the security of the system.
These are the main disadvantages of the existing systems that are overcome
in the proposed model.
ONLINE FOOD
ORDERING SYSTEM
∆The online food ordering system sets up a food menu online and
customers can easily place the order as per they like. Also, online customers
can easily track their orders.
∆ The management maintains a customer database and improves food
delivery service.
∆This system also provides a feedback system in which users can rate the
food items. Also, the proposed system can recommend hotels, and food,
based on the ratings given by the user, and the hotel staff will be informed
of the improvements along with the quality.
∆The payment can be made online or in cash or a pay-on-delivery system.
For more secure ordering separate accounts are maintained for each user by
providing them an ID and a password.
ONLINE EXAMINATION
SYSTEM
∆ Online Examination is very helpful to users. This project aims to provide a
quick, immediate, easy way to appear for the exam.
∆ It can provide special advantages to the students/applicants. The online
examination system can automatically add the marks allocated in each question
to determine the total mark for the questions.
∆A time limit can be set for the questions. Online Examination System allows
jumping to specific questions based on the previous answer.
∆The online examination system limits the number of times a student can write
a question. The login module helps the user to log in to the site. For that, he/she
must type the username and password correctly.
∆The login provision on this page helps the already registered user to directly
access the site and there is a link for registration for a user who is new to this
site. The student module is mainly for students.
∆ This helps the students to register for the exam and answer the exam. For
registration name, address, phone no, role id, and password should be entered.
∆This system will provide results after the exam according to the correct and
wrong answers. The administrator module is mainly for the administrator.
∆This will contain the creation of the question, a preview of the already created
question paper, and the report of the administrator. For creating the question
paper he/she must enter the exam id, no. of questions, total time (in mins),
marks per question, and option type. For showing the preview of the already
created question paper he/she must enter the correct exam id.
