Course Objectives:
This course is intended to provide a basic knowledge of various civil engineering materials that
can be used in construction and maintenance of civil engineering project. Different materials,
their manufacturing process, composition and properties has been introduced which provides in
important insight of materials that will help in selection and proper use of these materials. In
addition, this course objects to provide hands-on experiences with testing of construction
materials.
