Reflection on Code of Conduct for Seafarers

As a student that currently studying the marine engineering course, I began to learn more
knowledge and adapt the action of a seafarer as I continue to pursue this profession. At this
moment, I have been continuing to study this lesson on the following code of conduct of seafarer
since I use this experience of knowledge will help me and since I know what is the prohibition
action of a seafarer in the sea. At this point, I’ve got some well-needed information, as well as
practical, learning between myself and the conduct of seafarer lesson that was a staple of my
time during this term. Truth to be told, I began to practice of becoming of self-discipline and
trying to be person to hold responsible task. As a seafarer that must follow the rules and
regulations for you have a good record and remained your respected position. We already know
that seafaring is a difficult job, that requires a great discipline, commitment and sacrifices for you
to take to be in this profession. It would need be to be able handle myself as I will be encountering
different people when I became a seafarer and gods know what’s coming, but I know it's best to
maintain good conduct behavior for the be able to build trust in shipping company or
organization.

The initiative aims to follow the standard and principles, the Code of Conduct focuses on the
full spectrum of seafarers’ rights and welfare, from fair terms of employment and crew
protection to availability and appropriate management of grievance mechanisms. There are
rules, required to follow if you set becoming to be a good seafarer are: the Punctuality is required
to be in your time work operation when in onboard ship. Drinking it is strictly be prohibited to be
influence in alcohol while working. Drugs that those who found guilty to do will be dismiss on the
board ship. Weapons are strictly prohibited to bring weapons onboard ship. Carrying out duties
for seafarer to do their job in his best of his ability. Smoking it may be, can cause a threat to the
safety of the vessel so strictly prohibited to smoke anywhere besides in the smoking area.
Behavior Toward colleague Onboard misbehavior or bad attitude are not tolerated on board ship.
Bringing an unauthorized person is prohibited without the permission of the captain. Unlawful
activity by doing something illegal is prohibited. These are the rules and code of conduct may
follow by seafarer under all circumstances to ensure the safety of the ship and happy sailing.
