Description

The HPE Version Control Repository Manager (VCRM) enables management of Service Pack for
ProLiant (SPP) and components in a repository.

Installation Instructions

Prerequisites:

Install the latest HPE System Management Homepage (SMH for Windows) from the following
link:

Reboot Requirement:

Reboot is not required after installation for updates to take effect and hardware stability to be
maintained.
Installation:

1. Ensure that you are logged in to Windows with a user account that is a member of the
"Administrators" group.
2. Download the kit to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The
downloaded file is a self-extracting executable with the name WVCRM_YYYY_MMM_win.exe.
3. Execute the downloaded file and follow on-screen instructions to unpack the files and install
the kit. Note that it will stop and restart the HPE Version Control Repository Manager service and
other services that HPE Version Control Repository Manager use during this process. The entire
update should take less than 5 minutes.
4. After a successful installation, you may delete the self-extracting file and the files unpacked in
step 3.
