GROUP CATEGORY: ACADEMICS

PRESCHOOL English Quiz Bee


Preschool
1. Each group consists 3 students.
2. 11 sets will compete for Stage 1
3. PS EQB has 4 stages
4. Each participant is given 5 seconds to answer after pressing the buzzer.

A. Stage 1 ( consists of 11 sets )


-Each participant will receive 2 QUESTIONS.
-All 3 groups will be given 5 PICTURES to answer ( rebutan )
- Winners from each set will proceed to Stage 2
- Non- Winners will no longer compete for another round.
Total score – 11 points
B. Stage 2
-Winners from Stage 1 will be divided into 5 sets
-Each set consists 2 groups except for the last set with 3 groups
-There will be 5 QUESTIONS for each group and 5 PICTURES ( rebutan )
- Winners from each set will proceed to Stage 3
Total score – 10 points

C. Stage 3
- There will be 2 sets, 1st set consists 3 groups, 2nd set consists 2
groups
-Each group will be given 5 PICTURES.
-All groups will be given 5 QUESTIONS to answer ( rebutan )
- Ranking: The first three groups that got the highest scores will proceed to final round. The lowest
2 groups will be stated as 4th & 5th winners.
Total score – 10 points

D. Stage 4 / FINAL ROUND


- The highest three winners from Stage 3
- All groups will be given 10 QUESTIONS to answer ( ributan )
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd winners will be declared based on total points.
Total score – 10

Additional Rules :

1. Tie breaker = 3 questions


2. NO STEAL POLICY
3. NO Parents allowed on the stage
4. No changing of student
5. If one team has a late/ cry child, their set will be moved as the last set.
6. If by the last set, the group still consists of 1 or 2 members, their team must go on with a
disadvantage of lacking questions/ pictures for the third student.
7. The students must wear masks.
8. 1st, 2nd, 3rd , 4th, 5th will receive trophy and medals.
9. Non-winners will get medals.

K1 English Quiz Bee


Kindergarten 1
1. Each group consists 3 students.
2. 9 sets with 3 groups
3. K1 EQB has 4 stages.
4. Each participant is given 5 seconds to answer after pressing the buzzer.

A. Stage 1 ( consists of 9 sets )


-Each participant will receive 3 QUESTIONS.
-All 3 groups will be given 5 QUESTIONS to answer ( rebutan )
- Winners from each set will proceed to Stage 2
Total score – 14 points

B. Stage 2
-Winners from Stage 1 will be divided into 3 sets
-Each set consists 3 groups.
-There will be 5 QUESTIONS for each group and 7 QUESTIONS ( rebutan)
-Winners from each set will proceed to Stage 4 or FINAL ROUND
-Non-Winners will proceed to Stage 3
Total score – 12 points

C. Stage 3
- Non-winners from Stage 2 will be divided into 2 sets.
- Each set consists 3 groups.
- The groups will be given 10 SECRET QUESTIONS ( rebutan )
- Ranking: The first two groups who got the highest point will be declared as 4th and 5th
winners.
Total score – 10 points

D.Stage 4
- Winners from Stage 2
- All groups will be given 15 SECRET QUESTIONS ( rebutan )
- Ranking : Winners will be declared as 1st, 2nd, 3rd based on scores.
Total score – 15 points

C. Stage 3 ( consists of 2 sets)
- There will be 2 sets, ,first set consists 3 groups, 2nd set consists 2 groups
- All groups will be given 10 SECRET QUESTIONS ( rebutan )
- Ranking: The first three groups that got the highest scores will proceed to the final round. The
