Panel Text INT0 Link C Lost

Description Communication fault in link C between interface board and ADCVI
Causes Ensure that the ADCVI board and the INT board in the communication link each have their
power and the PPCS fiber optic cables are secure. The ADCVI board converts the analogue
measurement signals of current and voltage into digital signals. The digital signals are
transmitted via fiber optic cables (PPCS) to the INT board. The ADCVI board may be the cause
of the fault. The INT board is used as a measurement interface between the ADCVI board. The
INT board receives the intermediate link DC voltage and the inverter, sine filter and ground
current signals from the ADCVI board. The communication between the INT board and the
ADCVI board is made with fiber optic cables. The logic circuit called EPLD on the INT board is
dealing with all protection signals and SW control signals. The INT board may be the cause of
the fault.
Rectification The communication link should work properly if all the settings and connectors are secure. To
first test if the ADCVI board is the cause of the fault, temporarily connect a replacement ADCVI
board to the unit. Ensure the SVA and SCA subprints are compatible with the ACS converter
type. If the fault is not removed, test if the INT board is the cause of the fault, temporarily connect
a replacement INT board to the unit. Ensure the INT board is identical to the board being
replaced and check the compatibility of the EPLD memory.

Description Max RBU/BCU temp rise has reached level of 134.17 DIS NP LIM T RISE - the NP-limiter is
disabled.
Causes High dc-link voltage, braking with RBU/BCU, NP-control with NP-limiter, dc-voltage
measurement problem, parameters.
Rectification Ignore in case of generative/braking operation - note that NP-voltage has to be controlled in
other means than NP-limiter after the alarm.
1) Check the dc-link voltages.
2) Check NP-voltages.

Panel Text Speed Measurement
Description Error detected in speed measurement device NTAC-02
Causes - Driver not initialised correctly e.g. encoder enabled without cycling aux. power.
- fiber optic connection from Driver to AMC-33 ch2 is disconnected.
Rectification See fault messages NTAC Missing and GRAY Missing
1 check fiber optic cables from AMC-board Ch2 to NTAC-02 module
2 check power supply of NTAC-02 module and correct jumper
3 cycle aux. power in COU to allow re-initialisation of NTAC-02 driver by AMC-card.
