GOD FIRST

Mathew 6:33.
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as
well”
God First tongue twister! Interesting!
“Never end with the start or start with end. Always start with the start because it is the start that
starts”, in the beginning God. Genesis 1.1 This is the Law of Spirituality.
God First initiative is a quote of the words of our Lord and master Christ Jesus as recorded in
Mathew 6:33, when the omniscient called upon human beings to put their priorities right!
The setting was such that He saw people worried of tomorrow. Many were worried of what to
eat, drink or dress tomorrow. The future was quite a challenge to humanity. Just like it is today.
All the worries notwithstanding, He said “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and
all these things will be given to you as well”. Matthew 6:33. He emphasized First things First
principle of life. Apparently this is all there is for every believer in Christ.
Without this order of prioritization, there is no spirituality, no faithfulness and consequently no
stewardship hence no worship.
Proverbs 3:6 “In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts
with success.”
“STEWARDSHIP AT THE WELL.”
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it
on the seas and established it on the waters”. Psalms 24:1-2 and 1 Corinthians 10:26.
