This document outlines a learning plan for grade 8 mathematics that focuses on solving problems involving linear functions. The plan provides objectives, activities and assessments for students to work through independently with guidance from a facilitator. It specifies that students will read discussions and solve problems related to linear functions. The facilitator will check students' work and provide feedback and supplementary materials. The goal is for students to demonstrate understanding of key concepts and accurately solve real-world problems involving linear functions.

LEARNING PLAN IN MATHEMATICS

GRADE LEVEL: GRADE 8 WEEK: FIVE (5)
QUARTER: SECOND QUARTER DATE: DECEMBER 13 - 17, 2021
This plan is developed for you, as a facilitator, to guide the learner during the conduct of this
worksheet/activity sheets entitled "MIMs: Modular Instructional Materials in Mathematics". You
will check the specified outputs of the learner and afterwards, keep the answer key with you. You
Guide to the Facilitator will guide/assist the learner to accomplish the following objectives which highlight the cognitive
(thinking), psychomotor (physical/kinaesthetic) and affective (social/emotional/feeling) skills.
Answer sheet will be used for answering the questions and activities.

Content Standard: The learners demonstrates understanding of key concepts of factors of polynomials,
rational algebraic expressions, linear equations and inequalities in two variables, systems
of linear equations and inequalities in two variables and linear functions.
Performance Standard The learners is able to formulate real-life problems involving factors of polynomials,
rational algebraic expressions, linear equations and inequalities in two variables, systems
of linear equations and inequalities in two variables and linear functions, and solve these
problems accurately using
