1. Cabuyao Central School will conduct a SLAC (School-based Learning Action Cell) on PROJECT USE (Utilization of Science Equipment) on January 13, 2020. The objective is to improve teaching and learning outcomes through using science equipment and to improve student academic performance by 10%. 2. All teachers are expected to attend the training workshop and presentation. The training will provide an overview of PROJECT USE, hold a workshop on the topic, and presentations of outputs. Certificates will be awarded at the end of the session. 3. A program agenda is attached, including the registration time, opening program, presentations, workshop, output presentations, and closing program with remarks and recognition.

1. Pursuant to DepED Order No. 36, s. 2013, entitled, “Our Department of Educaion
Vision, Mission and Core Values (DEPED VMV and , In line with the DepEd order
No. 35, s. 2016 entitled, The Learning Action Cell As A K to 12 Basic Education
Program School-based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the
Improvement of Teaching and Learning, Cabuyao Central School with the
partnership of Lingap Educator Program, strongly supports the City Schools
Division of Cabuyao advocacy for the Continuous Improvement (CI), as quality
teachers for teaching and learning improvement.

The Educator Empowerment Program is an innovative teacher development


program provides schools with the means to give all their teachers year-round
training in critical areas that affect the quality of teaching and learning improvement.
Anchored on the groundbreaking Educator 6R (Read, Reflect, Reinforce, Relate,
Render, Refresh) Training Model and lessons delivered to each teacher via Educator
Training Modules.

Based on the results of Electronic Self-Assessment Test and Classroom


Observation from the previous months, teachers need to enhance their teaching
strategies and refresh their passion, love and commitment in teaching further to
improve student academic performance and contribute to the effort to improve
Philippine basic education.

To resolve the aforementioned concern, Cabuyao Central School will conduct


“ SLAC on PROJECT USE (Utilization of Science Equipment)” on January 13,
2020 at ALS Building, Cabuyao Central School Osmeña St. Poblacion Dos, City of
Cabuyao, Laguna.

2. The primary objective of the training ( Module 1) are as follows:

a. To improve teaching and learning outcomes through the use of science


equipments, involve 100% of teachers participation and commitment;
b. improve pupils’ academic performance to atleast 10% from the previous grading
period.

3. All participants and technical committees are expected to arrive on January 13, 2020
at 12:30 in the afternoon for registration. Attached are the Program Management
Team, Program, and Training Matrix.
