EXT. FIELD – MORNING

A ding of a bell

COMMENTATOR
And the winner is Danny Davis!

The crowd screaming and cheering.

CUT TO:
INT. CHANGING ROOMS – DAY

THE MANAGER
What the hell was that. You were supposed to Win. Do you not care about the money I woulda
got. I coulda got Outta this joint. You fucked it Don!

DONOVAN
I’m sorry alright! I tried my best.

THE MANAGER
Your best wasn’t enough. You have fucked me Don, fucked me! They’re gonna kill me. How
hard is too fuckin’ win Don.
You’s is not worth my fuckin’ life!

DONOVAN
God, calm down. If he does anything we can just run.

THE MANAGER
Run like always, huh. Do you know who we are dealing with!
It’s the cartel Don! They don’t fuck around! Don. Don! Don!

CAMERA reveals don is hiding and waiting for CARTEL BOSS to leave
CARTEL BOSS swings open the door
A dark figure follows him in
CARTEL BOSS pulls out a crowbar and SMACKS it on his hands
 CARTEL BOSS
Where is he?

THE MANAGER
I don’t know I swear! He vanished, I didn’t see em I swear!

CARTEL BOSS CLICKS his fingers

THE MANAGER
Who the hell are you? What! The hell are you doing! Stop! Stop! I don’t know I swear!

THE MANAGER screams in pain

CUT TO:
EXT. STREET WOODS - DAY

DONOVAN heavy panting and fast running footsteps down a long path covered by trees.

SHOT LENGTH 10s

DONOVAN slumps by a stump and sighs

CAMERA SHOT blocked by shrubbery HOVERING around DONOVAN

HEAVY BREATHING

DONOVAN
(sighs)

CAMERA SHOT goes through the bush as you see a hand push the bush to the side

BUSH RUSTLES and DONOVAN looks around FLUSTERED

DONOVAN stands up and begins to walk away from the sound

A GUN SHOT GOES OFF

DONOVAN
aah!

The bullet misses and DONOVAN SPRINTS away

CAMERA swerves around to show a dark figure emerging from the bush

CUT TO:
EXT. WOODLAND PATH - DAY
DONOVAN panting out of breath

CAMERA SHOT swirls around DONOVAN and faces his face

The dark figure appears once again behind him
The SHOTGUN COCKS
DONOVAN runs away as fast as he can but he runs into a dead end

GUN SHOT GOES OFF

FADE TO BLACK

COMMENTATOR
And the winner is Danny Davis!

The crowd screaming and cheering.

INT. CHANGING ROOMS – DAY

DONOVAN
(panicking)

THE MANAGER
Yeah, I’m scared to considerin’ you pissed off the cartel!

DONOVAN
I got shot, I died, I… I…

THE MANAGER
You’re on it again ain’t ya, is that why you lost?

DONOVAN
No, I’m not it’s just been.

CARTEL BOSS opens the door

SMACKING a crowbar on his hands

CARTEL BOSS
So, you think you can betray me and get away with it.

CAMERA SHOT OUTSIDE THE CHANGING ROOMS

CROWBAR SMACK can be heard MUFFLED from the outside

CUT TO:
CAMERA SHOT zoomed in on DONOVANs face

DONOVAN
 (sighs)

DONOVAN stands a walk out into the hallway and sneakily leaves to go outside, avoiding the
cartel

EXT. WOODLAND - DAY

THE MANAGERS muffled screams can be heard in the background

DONOVAN starts running

DONOVAN runs past the dark figure

SHOTGUN SHOT WOULD GO OFF

DONOVAN
Ah!

DONOVAN would run down the slope trying to get away

CAMERA SHOT goes around DONOVAN as he stares at the slope

The camera slowly goes around to the front of DONOVAN
The dark figure body is finally revealed as the camera lifts up revealing that he is standing
behind DONOVAN

DONOVAN
Agh! Let go, Let…

The dark figure strangled DONOVAN till death

MONTAGE OF DONOVAN BEING KILLED

EXT. FIELD – DAY

DONOVAN running away, then falls into a hole onto his face
VINCE appears standing above DON and kills him

DONOVAN runs into VINCE and is killed by the crowbar

EXT. WOODS – DAY

DONOVAN falls off a cliff and dies (SCREAMING)

INT. CHANGING ROOMS – DAY

DONOVAN hides in the showers and gets shot by VINCE

DONOVAN charges at CARTEL BOSS and VINCE but gets knocked to the floor and shot.
INT. CHANGING ROOMS HALLWAY - DAY
DONOVAN attempts to hide and pop out and kill VINCE but is swung to the floor and stomped
on.
INT. UPSTAIRS HALLWAY – DAY
DONOVAN is cornered and VINCE STRANGLES him into the wall

EXT. FIELD – NIGHT

DONOVAN falls to his knees in the field and accepts there’s nothing he can do except be stuck
in the loop

END OF MONTAGE

DONOVAN
(sigh) I give up.

DONOVANS head is SMACKED by a crowbar and he falls down onto the floor
CAMERA SHOT follows DONOVANS head as it falls onto the floor

DONOVAN VOICE OVER

That was it. I didn’t know how to escape. I gave up.
It doesn’t matter how far I run, he’ll always find me.
I don’t know what else I can do. I’m stuck in this torturous cycle.

DONOVAN stands and leaves the CHANGING ROOMS as he walks down the trail full of
leaves the dark figure approaches from behind him. DONOVAN stops and stands still he asks

EXT. WOODS - DAY

DONOVAN
Why do you do this? Money? I can give you money.

VINCE
I don’t do it for the money.

DONOVAN
Then you don’t have to do this.

VINCE
They always say that.

INT. DARK HALLWAY – UNKNOWN

CARTEL BOSS
 You know what to do.

VINCE flicks coin into the air and smacks it on his wrist

VINCE
I do now.

CARTEL BOSS and VINCE walk down the dark hallway to the door

CAMERA FOLLOWS them opening the door keeping both in FRAME

CARTEL BOSS
Where is he?

THE MANAGER
I don’t know I swear! He vanished, I didn’t see em I swear!

EXT. WOODS – DAY

DONOVAN
How do I get out? Do you even know what’s going on?

VINCE
Goodbye Donovan.

DONOVAN
I wish it was…

VINCE’S shotgun would go off and kill DONOVAN

DONOVAN would wake up in the CHANGING ROOMS once again

INT. CHANGING ROOMS - DAY

DONOVAN
(screaming)

THE MANAGER
Jesus! Shut up will ya!

DONOVAN THE MANAGER by his coat and pins him to the wall

DONOVAN
I don’t want to do (sobbing) this anymore!

THE MANAGER
The fuck is wrong wit ya, get off of me
 DONOVAN
What do I need to do to escape my problems, when I can’t run.

THE MANAGER
You fight Don, you fight.

DONOVAN
Thank you.

DONOVAN runs into the hallway but is met by VINCE and CARTEL BOSS and is killed

DONOVAN
Come with me.

DONOVAN leads THE MANAGER to a hiding place

DONOVAN
Stay here, I’ll come back.

THE MANAGER
Fuck has got into you?

DONOVAN smirks at THE MANAGER and leaves the room

EXT. WOODS - DAY

DONOVAN runs out to the woods and ties a rope to some trees

DONOVAN
Hey over here!

VINCE
Strange, he must’ve suffered some brain damage during the fight.

VINCE walks closer to DONOVAN and steps on the rope DONOVAN just laid down

VINCE
Shit.

VINCE covers himself to only realise that nothing happened, and that DONOVAN is gone
CAMERA spins round to face the front of VINCE and shows DONOVAN sneaking behind him
CUT TO:
INT. CHANGING ROOMS – DAY

CARTEL BOSS can be heard from inside

 CARTEL BOSS
Where are you?
DONOVAN grunts and swings a stick at his head knocking him down
DONOVAN goes to where he hid THE MANAGER and opens the door

THE MANAGER
What’s happenin’ out there

DONOVAN
Go, run. We’re free, almost.

THE MANAGER
Thank you, Don.

DONOVAN would leave the changing rooms and attempt to lure VINCE

DONOVAN
Oi! Where are you?

VINCE would fire a shotgun just barely missing DONOVAN

DONOVAN
Shit!

DONOVAN runs back into the HALLWAY and runs up the stairs
DONOVAN hides round the corner and is ready to strike

VINCE
There’s nowhere to run Donovan.

VINCE walks up to the last step of the stair

DONOVAN Appears from around the corner and pushes him down the stairs
VINCE grabs his hand and pulls him down as well

VINCE lays on the floor with DONOVAN on top of him dead

DONOVAN
I…

DONOVAN rolls off VINCE

MUSIC BEGINS TO PLAY as the screen fades to black
