Digital Onboarding KYC

Sole Proprietor:

 Pan and OVD of Proprietor.


 Any Two Entity proof in the name of Business/Firm from the below list where one should
mandatorily be a registration proof (Business name and Address should match in both
documents) as per RBI circular.
1. Registration certificate.
2. Certificate/license issued by the municipal authorities under Shop and
Establishment Act.
3. Sales and income tax returns.
4. VAT/CST/GST certificate.
5. Certificate/registration document issued by Sales Tax/Service Tax/Professional
Tax authorities.
6. IEC (Importer Exporter Code) issued to the proprietary concern by the office of
DGFT or Licence/certificate of practice issued in the name of the proprietary
concern by any professional body incorporated under a statute.
7. Complete Income Tax Return along with acknowledgement copy (ITR V) in the
name of the sole proprietor where the firm's income is reflected, duly
authenticated/acknowledged by the Income Tax authorities.
8. Utility bills such as electricity, water, landline telephone bills, etc. (latest by 2
months) in the name of Firm.
9. Udyam Certificate/Udyog Aadhar/MSME Certificate can be accepted as secondary
entity proof document (if address on Udyam Certificate matches with the primary
Entity proof).
Note:
1. Firm Name & Address should match with both the Entity proof.
2. All the KYC docs should be Self Attested.
3. Pan number 4th letter should be “P”.
4. Linkage proof (relationship proof between Firm and Proprietor).
Partnership:

 Pan of Partnership Firm.


 Address proof of partnership Firm.
 Partnership Deed.
 Any One Existence proof in the name of Firm from the below list (Firm name should
match in all documents –
1. Registration certificate.
2. Certificate/license issued by the municipal authorities under Shop and
Establishment Act.
3. VAT/CST/GST certificate.
4. Certificate/registration document issued by Sales Tax/Service Tax/Professional
Tax authorities.
5. IEC (Importer Exporter Code) issued to the proprietary concern by the office of
DGFT or Licence/certificate of practice issued in the name of the proprietary
concern by any professional body incorporated under a statute.
 Current List of Partners (As per bank Format).
 Partnership Firm Declaration (As per bank Format).
 Beneficial Ownership Declaration (As per bank format).
 Pan & OVD of Authorized signatory/BO.
Note:
1. Partnership Declaration should be signed by all the partners on all the pages.
2. Partnership Deed must be made in the Stamp paper and Notarized/Registered.
3. Partnership declaration should be in Firm’s Letter head.
4. Pan number 4th letter should be “F”.
Private Limited:

 Pan of Company.
 Address proof.
 Certificate of Incorporation.
 Memorandum of Association.
 Articles of Association.
 Board resolution (As per bank format).
 Beneficial Ownership Declaration (As per bank format).
 Current List of Directors (As per bank format).
 Pan & OVD of Authorized Signatory/ Beneficial owner.
 ID & OVD of Director signing Board Resolution.

Note:
1. MOA & AOA 1st and last page should be self-attested.
2. Board Resolution should be in Company Letter Head.
3. Board Resolution should be signed by Minimum two Directors on all the pages.
4. Pan number 4th letter should be “C”.
5. Board Resolution date should be within One year.
6. If COI is provided as an Address proof, then address should match with the MCA site. If
address mismatch, then Form-18/INC-22 + ROC Challan proof required for address change.
7. Any other Government issued certificate GST, IEC, FSSAI certificate can be accepted where
address should match with the one on the MCA website.
Limited Liability partnership:

 Pan of LLP.
 Address proof.
 Certificate of Incorporation.
 LLP Agreement.
 LLP Declaration (As per bank format).
 Current List of Partners (As per bank format).
 Beneficial Ownership Declaration (As per bank format).
 Pan & OVD of Authorized Signatory/ Beneficial owner.

Note:
1. LLP Declaration should be signed by minimum 2 designated partners on all the pages as
per MCA.
2. LLP Declaration should be in Firm’s Letter head.
3. Pan number 4th letter should be “F”.
4. LLP Agreement must be on Stamp paper and Notarized/Registered.
5. If COI is provided as an Address proof, then address should match with the MCA site. If
address mismatch, then Form-15 + ROC Challan proof required for address change.
6. Any other Government issued certificate GST, IEC, FSSAI certificate can be accepted where
address should match with the one on the MCA website.

 For Digitally signed documents provided/submitted by customers for onboarding, it needs to be e-verified
through certified CA (Certifying Authorities).
 Validity of DSC to be checked mandatorily before accepting digitally signed documents & KYC.
 Digitally downloaded documents from government websites e.g., e-PAN, e-Aadhaar, GST certificate, COI,
MOA & AOA etc., should be digitally verified by the respective authority. The ‘sign not verified’ (with a
question mark) appearing on the document will make it invalid.
