Check-in

FO: Good afternoon. Welcome to the Pearl of the Orient Hotel. How may I help you?
G: I have a reservation for today.
FO: Under whose name was the reservation made, Ma’am?
G: It’s under the name of (surname).
FO: Can you please spell that for me, ma’am?
G: Sure, it’s (spell the surname).

FO: Yes, Ms. _______, we have reserved a single room for you with a city view for two
nights. Is that correct?
G: Yes, it is.
FO: Each night costs P7500 so that would be a total of P 15000.
G: Sounds good to me.
FO: Alright ma’am, kindly fill up our registration form and here is our house policy for
you to read. (bigay ng mga papel). Could we see a valid ID please?
G: Here it is. (bigay ni guest ung ID)
(pagkabigay ng ID, ififill up ni guest ung reg form then habang nagfifill up,
phinophotocopy naman ni FO yung ID, check kunyari ng details sa monitor chuchu)

FO: Excellent. I see here that you would like to settle your account by using a credit
card. Is that correct?
G: Yes, it is.
FO: Alright ma’am, since you will be settling your account with a credit card, you will not
be charged yet in case you incur additional charges by using some of our amenities like
our minibar.
G: Okay, that sounds good to me. What’s included in the cost again?
FO: A full continental buffet every morning and the use of the hotel’s safe are all
included.
G: Okay, so what room am I in?
FO: Your room is on the 5 th floor. Here is your room number written on the back of the
packet, (papakita kunyari) To get to your room, take the elevator on the left side up to
the 5th floor. Turn right once you exit the elevator and your room will be on the right-
hand side. Also, there is internet available in the lobby 24 hours a day. A bell boy will
bring your bags to your room shortly.
G: Great, thanks.
FO: Should you have any questions or requests, please dial ‘0’ on your room’s phone.
Have a pleasant stay!
G: Thank you! (alis)

Check-out
FO: Ms. _______, don’t tell me you’re leaving us already.
G: Unfortunately, yes. I would like to check out now.
FO: Alright, ma’am. Did you enjoy your stay with us?
G: Yes, very much so. All your staff are very accommodating. However, I need to get to
the airport now. I have a flight in 2 hours. What is the quickest way to get there?
FO: We do have a free airport shuttle service.
G: Great, but will it get me to the airport on time?
FO: Yes, it should. The next shuttle will be leaving in 15 minutes, and it would take
approximately 20 minutes for you to get to the airport.
G: Fantastic. I think I’ll just wait in the lounge area. Will you please let me know when it
will be leaving?
FO: Of course, ma’am. Oh, before anything else, let’s settle your bill first. I will be
needing your keycard please.
G: Sure, here it is. (bigay keycard)
FO: (kuha keycard) Thank you. One moment ma’am while I retrieve your folio.

FO ung bill)
FO: Here’s your final statement, (abot papel) please look over the charges, and if
everything’s okay, please sign here at the bottom.
G: Yes, I think this is correct. (pipirma) Here it is.
FO: Excellent. (tatype kunyari, sinesettle na yung charges)
FO: There we go Ms. _________, you are officially checked out and it has been a
pleasure to be of service. Can I make a future reservation for you?
G: I don’t think I have any plans for another trip yet, but my stay here has been lovely, I
would consider booking a reservation here again.
FO: Wonderful, we truly appreciate it. If you like, you can leave your bags with the
porter, and he can load them onto the shuttle for you when it arrives.
G: That would be lovely, thank you.
FO: Would you like to answer our guest feedback form while you wait?
G: Sure, I had a great stay here, I would recommend it to my family and friends.
FO: That’s good to hear. Our number is on your statement. Thank you for staying with
us Ms. __________. Have a safe trip home and I hope to see you again real soon.
G: Thank you, goodbye.
FO: Goodbye.
