English Lesson Note - Jan To Feb 23
10-1-23: Punctuation
Introduce the topic by talking about the traffic rules we have to follow on road to
be safe. Explain punctuation as rules to be followed in writing. Refer the
worksheet and explain well the use of punctuations. Then teach them that we
use capital letter at the beginning of a sentence, name of a person, place, months
of the year, days of the week, all subjects, and single ‘I’. Teach them about asking
and telling sentences. Tell them about question words like “What”, “When”,
“Where”, “Why”, “How”, “Do you”, “May I”, “Can I”. Give a lot of examples.
Explain that a question mark is placed at the end of an asking sentence and a full
stop is given at the end of a telling sentence. Complete W/S - 10.
11-1-23: Punctuation W/S - 11 Complete first 5 sentences.
23-1-23: Reading
A thorough reading practice of the l lesson should be given in the class. Each
child should be given an opportunity to read at least a few lines from the lesson.
24-1-23: Words (1 to 5)
Drill the words orally very well and give them in the notebook.

Exam.
