This document provides requirements for building elements at different Bushfire Attack Levels (BAL) to improve bushfire resistance. It includes requirements for subfloor supports, floors, external walls, and external glazing at BAL ratings from BAL-LOW to BAL-40. Non-combustible materials like concrete and fiber cement are required at higher BAL ratings. Walls must be enclosed and clad in non-combustible sheeting. Glass must be toughened or protected by shutters at BAL-29 and above.
