Day 2

On February 7, 2023, The day started with a prayer led by Sir


James, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, Sugbo
Hymn, and Naga Hymn, and an energizer from Cantao-an Senior High
School, which set the tone for an energized and engaging day. The INSET
program for teachers continued with three speakers who delivered insightful
presentations. Mr. Aaron Adlawan focused on decision-making and problem-
solving in the workplace, and he gave examples of how to apply the 6m's, 4
p's, and 3 p's in various situations.

For instance, he talked about how understanding the measurement aspect of


the 6m's can help teachers track and evaluate their students' progress more
effectively.Mr. Lainel A. Reyes talked about specific technology tools that
teachers can use in the classroom to enhance learning, such as interactive
whiteboards, learning management systems, and educational apps. He also
discussed the benefits and drawbacks of using technology in education, and
how to balance it with more traditional teaching methods.Ms. Luzvie P.
Mendezabel stressed the importance of safety and etiquette when using
facilities and equipment in schools. She provided concrete examples of safety
protocols, such as properly using facilities and equipements. She also
discussed the importance of respecting shared spaces and materials, such as
leaving a clean classroom for the next teacher to use.

The learning insights from Mr. Adlawan's talk include the importance of
utilizing decision-making and problem-solving skills in the workplace, as well
as understanding the different factors that contribute to successful outcomes.
Teachers can apply the 6m's, 4 p's, and 3 p's in their work to achieve their
desired outputs.From Mr. Reyes' presentation, teachers can learn about
specific technology tools that can be used to facilitate learning and teaching in
the classroom. It is essential to balance the use of technology with traditional
teaching methods and to consider the benefits and drawbacks of using
technology in education.Ms. Mendezabel's talk provided valuable insights on
how to maintain safety and etiquette when using facilities and equipment in
schools. Teachers need to follow safety protocols, respect shared materials
and spaces, and leave a clean and organized environment for the next person
to use.

Overall, the second day of the INSET program for teachers was
a great success, and participants left with new insights and skills to enhance
their teaching practices.
