Opening Prayer
By: Ms. Cherylyn Naagas
Let’s bow our heads and place ourselves in the presence of the Lord. (Pause for a few
seconds.)
In the name…
Almighty Father, the beginning of all good and the greatest source of wisdom.
Forgive us for our sinfulness as we acknowledge Your divine presence in our midst.
We thank you for the gift of life, of family, of friendship…for knowledge and for peace.
Thank you for the memories we have shared with everyone who have been part of this
institution since the very beginning. Thank you for the presence of these people who made
their way, (amidst the bad weather) just to take part in this celebration.
Bestow your grace and divine wisdom to all of us present here, so we could cooperate and
enjoy camaraderie and love for the greater glory of your name.
Bless the awardees that they may be more committed to serve selflessly.
Bless also those we have left behind in our homes. May you grant them peace and
happiness as they go about their activities.
Bless all people around the globe that they may enjoy peace and the goodness of your love.
