Job Title: - ISP Deployment Program Manager () Current Level: B1 (Manager)
Function: Deployment Location: Airtel Centre, Gurgaon
Reporting to : Mr. Bhupender Sharma Date : 15-Sep 2022
Purpose of the Job
Responsible for Optical network rollout and will work on Expressway/Optical Collector / ASON Network
Rollout. He will validate Link engineering plan and BOQ and recommend Necessary changes in plan released or
link budget designed. He will coordinate with partner team for Implementation / deployment activities as per
specified quality norms and timeline in order to delight the customers and contributing towards the
achievement of organizational goals.

Deliverables (Maximum 8-12 key responsibilities)


1. Re validation of Link engineering plan and Bill of quantity with field team in order to dispatch right set of
material on sites and avoid delay in implementation / deployment.

2. Prioritize the subnet, link, Rings delivery and prioritize partner team for field execution work. He will align
ToCo RFAI and fiber Readiness (LCD deployment, Pair blocking / allocation based on priority, Link migration
outages, etc) in order to deliver end product / Services (Expressway DWDM / ASON network
200G/400G/800G expressway networks to meet the bandwidth requirement of end customer’s or Mobile
Network (Internal & External).

3. Will align vendor team for Testing (Stability / LSPM / Site Survey, Fiber loss validation, etc) and organize
support from Fiber Operation / ISP Deployment / NOC team for Stability test scheduling and observation
clearance at field to complete the testing and RFS Process

4. Link handover to respective teams post testing and keep coordinate with them for their future requirement (if
any).

5. Will conduct Circle & Partner Team review against weekly and monthly Target assigned and support them
for plan and Material alignment.
6. Devise new approach and strategies for the timely completion of deployment activities.

7. Vendor management & development team alignment (Field resources). Observe and assess the vendor
performance on their product and services.

8. Ensure ISP inventory tracking and capitalization all stakeholders.

Major Challenges :
1. Vendor team alignment and manpower mapping according to the project plan. Arrangement of operation
and NOC teams in according to the planned schedule. Realignment of vendor, O&M and NOC teams in case
issue occurs in the field.
2. Infra and fiber issues occurs in the field during deployment activity.
3. Managing and timely closure of hardware failure (Dead on arrival) issue.

Diploma (Electronics and Telecommunication) worked in TP (Packet), DWDM, IP, DCN & MPLS technologies.
