This is an individual event.


Any camera may be used.
You can upload upto 6 pictures and write a story/caption
around them.
The photo story should have a title.
The photos and the story you are submitting should be your
original work.
Only basic photo editing is allowed
Enteries would be accepted from 15th to 22nd March 2023.
You can sent you entries and queries through e-mail

Reel it real
Reel Making Competition - Online
Theme - Brahmaputra and Me
Size - Max 40 MB
File - MP4
Length - 60 seconds
Students can participate individually or as a group of 2
or 3. (Not more than 3)
Participants can use any lens (DSLR or Phone).
The reel must be an original creation. You can only be
inspired by existing trends online. Plagiarised content
leads to disqualification.
Malpractice/obscenity/vulgarity of any sorts will lead to
immediate disqualification.
The video will have to be shot, edited and the final
version has to be sent as an MP4 file.
Enteries would be accepted from 15th to 22nd March
2023.
The participants can interpret the themes as they like.

Meme Making Competition - Online
Theme - Everyday life in Guwahati
Size - Max 10 MB
File - jpg/jpeg format
Word limit - within 300 words

It is an individual event
One individual can submit only one meme.
The work must be original. Any cases of plagiarism will
lead to disqualification.
Memes should not be inappropriate, racist, sexist or
discriminatory to any person or groups.
Enteries would be accepted from 15th to 22nd March
2023.

Poetry and Story Writing - Online
Theme - North East Delicacies
File - PDF
Word limit - Poem: 30 lines
Story: 500-700words
The poem writing and story writing are two competitions
that are judged separately and one contestant can
participate in both.
One participant can only submit one entry for each
competition, all subsequent entries will be disqualified by
default.
The work must be original and plagiarised submissions
would also result in immediate disqualification.
No restriction on the number of entries from any college
or university.
The works must be in the English language
Enteries would be accepted from 15th to 22nd March
2023.

Time - Poetry: 5 minutes


Story: 10 minutes

It is not a competition

15 people registering first will get to participate

It is a multilingual event. Those who are presenting in

any language except English would need to give a

synopsis of the content in English.

The presentations should be your original work.

Face off!
Debate Competition - Offline

The debate competition will be conducted in Assamese and


English medium separately.
Each institute can send a maximum of 4 teams, with two
members in a team, one speaking for the motion and second
member speaking against the motion.
The mover of the motion will be selected by a draw of lots. The
mover will be allotted 5 minutes to speak while other
participants will be allotted 4 minutes to place their opinion in
the house. The mover will get an additional 1 minute time to sum
up at the end of the debate, which will not be considered for
evaluation.
Warning bell for the mover will be rung at 4 minutes and for
other speakers, it will be rung at 3 minutes.
Unparliamentarily behavior in the house and the use of
unparliamentarily words during deliberations will lead to
disqualification.
The decision of the judges and the speaker will be final and
binding and participants need to abide by them.
Each participant needs to bring their respective valid
institutional identity cards.

Elocution - Offline

The competition will be conducted in English and


Assamese medium separately.
There are no limitations in the number of participants
from each institution.
Each participant will get 4 minutes to deliver their
speech.
The decision of the judges and the speaker will be
final and binding and participants need to abide by
them.
Each participant needs to bring their respective valid
institutional identity cards.

Quiz - Offline

Students from Undergraduation to Post-Graduation


are eligible to participate in the competition.
Each institute can send a maximum of 3 teams, with
3 members in a team.
The competition will begin by a preliminary round.
The top 6 qualifying teams will contest in the final
round.
The decision of the judges and the speaker will be
final and binding and participants need to abide by
them.
Each participant needs to bring their respective
valid institutional identity cards
