FAUCET

This document summarizes a patent application for a faucet powered hydroelectric generator from Rizal Technological University. The generator is intended to harness the kinetic energy from household tap water to generate clean electricity and power small appliances. It uses the water pressure and flow from a faucet to turn a turbine and generator, storing the produced hydroelectric power in batteries. The goal is to provide a low-cost and efficient way to conserve energy and make use of daily water usage for power generation at home.

Title: “Faucet Powered Hydroelectric Generator”

Filing Date: 10/20/2022
Abstract
Hydroelectric power is one of the most efficient and widely used sources of clean
energy. With the rising cost of energy (both environmentally and economically), electricity
customers are looking for more cost-effective ways to power their devices. The consumer will
receive clean and free energy via faucet-powered hydroelectric generating. Faucet tap water is
one of the most utilized components in daily domestic duties such as washing clothes and dishes,
as well as bathing and cleaning.

This project study intends to assist in energy conservation and maximizing the usage of
tap water in daily life. This project also serves as an important backup power source during
power outages or disruptions in a single household. The process involved in this project is the
faucet water pressure, which helps the turbine revolve as much as it can and is stored on batteries
into generators, which can eventually be used to power various appliances. This study will also
attempt to optimize the possibilities of the pressure into the faucet to have a more efficient
method of storing hydroelectric power.

JP2011074795A FAUCET HYDROELECTRIC GENERATOR

The faucet hydroelectric generator includes: a cylinder portion

2 including a supply water inflow port and a supply water
outflow port and having a supply water flow channel formed
therein; a bucket portion 12 including a bucket blade portion
12a and provided in the supply water flow channel; a receiving
portion 2e for supporting the thrust force applied to the bucket
portion; a coil 15 configured to generate electromotive force by
rotation of the magnet; and a yoke 16 provided to surround the
coil. A first end face of the magnet on a thrust force acting
direction side projects from a first end face of the yoke on the
thrust force acting direction side so that a component acting by
the magnetic force generated between the yoke and the magnet
in a direction reverse to the thrust force acting direction is
increased.
CN209761611U Hydroelectric generation device for faucet

The utility model provides a hydroelectric generation device for

a faucet. The device comprises a main body with an upper
opening, a circular stator is clamped in the main body; the
circular stator is provided with a plurality of coils which are
arranged at intervals and distributed in the circumferential
direction. The centrifugal fan further comprises an impeller, a
shaft, a magnetic ring and a cover with a cavity with an upper
opening. The impeller comprises a cylinder and rotating blades
distributed in the circumferential direction of the bottom of the
cylinder, one end of the shaft is fixed to the bottom of the
cylinder, the other end of the shaft is inserted into the bottom of
the body, the magnetic ring is clamped to the inner side wall of
the cylinder and matched with the circular stator, the cover is
clamped to the body, the impeller is arranged in the cavity, and
a through hole is formed in the bottom of the cover. Compared
with the prior art, only water flow is needed for power
generation, a battery does not need to be placed, the effects of
environmental protection, energy conservation and low cost are
achieved, and meanwhile the device has the advantages of
being simple and stable in structure, convenient to use and long
in service life.

CN2858993Y Running water electric generator

The utility model relates to generator technical field, especially

to a running water electric generator. A plurality of hydraulic
driving plates is mounted on a min shaft to form a water wheel.
The lower part of the water wheel is in the water flow and
rotated by the impact of the water flow, thus to drive the
generator sets connected therewith to rotate and generate
electricity. The utility model has simple structure, low
equipment cost, environment protection and energy-saving
capability, high benefit, and can utilize abundant water flow
resources to generate electricity.
