This lesson plan aims to teach students about the G-clef, or treble clef, through applying mnemonic devices. Students will identify the names of notes on the treble clef lines and spaces. The teacher will motivate students by playing a song, then present information about the staff, treble clef symbol, and mnemonics like "Every Good Boy Does Fine" for note identification on the lines. Students will practice identifying notes on the treble clef and study rhythm elements for the next lesson.

b. Presentation
 Analysis
The teacher shall discuss the following :

Staff is made up of five (5) lines and four (4) spaces with
each spaces and lines corresponding to one certain note
.
G-clef (Treble Clef) is the most used clef in Western music
notation. It primarily notates musical notes above middle C. The
treble clef is shaped like an ornamental letter G, and its inner
curve surrounds the note G4 that falls above middle C. For this
reason, the treble clef is nicknamed the G clef. It is use for the
higher sounding notes, usually played with the right hand.

The musical alphabet includes only 7 letters: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. On the staff, each line or
space represents a different letter.

The remainder of the notes on the staff are named by going up

and down the musical alphabet on alternating lines and spaces.
A popular technique for memorizing the notes in each clef is to use mnemonic devices for the lines and
spaces. For the treble clef lines, the following phrase has been used for many years:

In order to memorize the notes on each clef easily mnemonics are developed for beginners .
The lines on the G-clef (from bottom to top ) represent the notes E,G,B,D,F to recall it easily
apply the mnemonic Every , Good , Boy , Deserve, Fruit. The spaces on the spaces on the
G-clef (From bottom to top) Represent the word FACE or the mnemonic , Father, Always,
Comes ,Early.
