Pakistan Day
Pakistan Day
“Any idea of a United India could never have worked and in my judgment, it would
have led us to terrific disaster.”― Muhammad Ali Jinnah
The nation is celebrating yet another Pakistan Resolution Day on 23rd March, which is a
very momentous day in Pakistan's history. The Pakistanis commemorate the day every
year as a real day of the "making of Pakistan" when a historic Resolution - widely known
as Lahore Resolution was passed.
Hence, 23rd March is a special day of much significance. This is a day when the idea of a
separate homeland for the Muslims of sub-continent was openly demanded as Pakistan.
But in present times, for most of us, it passes off without so much as a thought regarding
the importance of this day.Unless some drastic efforts are made, this day will be
forgotten by the future generations. As time passes, the necessity of highlighting the
importance of this momentous and vital day getsmore significant. It is not too late even
now. We can still generate the spirit that was present in thehearts of Muslims of the
sub-continent on that fateful 23rd March 1940.Keeping in mind the untold sacrifices
of the Muslim men, women, youths and children, certainly it isnot 'just another day'
in our lives as many people find this day especially boring: Except for listeningto
monotonous speeches, watching a symbolic armed forces' parade and national songs
ontelevision. What should be the true spirit of 23rd March? But, unluckily, as a nation we
have notbeen able to keep the spirit of this day alive and fail to remind ourselves as to
why we demanded aseparate homeland when we could have very well lived with the
Hindus and Sikhs.23rd March is a day, which ignited the lights in the hearts and souls of
the oppressed Muslim peopleof the sub-continent. The need of the hour is to remember
the message of the Quaid today, whichtold them that they had "to use their brains and
not muscles that knowledge is the power to playwith the British and Hindus that they
would progress if they stand together and consolidatepolitically to defeat the
oppressor." It is also about reliving the spirit again on the day and makingsincere efforts
to do something for our country. It means a lot to us all.
Many of us have listened to the date of 23rd March 1940 Resolution Day but how many
of you know the actual meaning and concept behind it! We are sure that many of you
would not be well aware of the main idea behind the resolution day and how much of
the efforts and struggles have been put together in achieving this day. In real terms,
Pakistan start existing in this world the day the very first Hindu turned into Muslims.
On 23rd March 1940, it was much confirmed that Muslims were in the need of a
separate homeland as they desire to live with complete freedom and attain their own
rules to follow the country. This day is special in the sense that Muslims gather at one
platform by showing the best unity and brotherhood impression. They basically want an
Islamic independent country place.
Now, you would be thinking about in mind that why this day is so much important just
on the fact that so many of the Muslims gather on one platform and that’s all!
Resolution Day is in real terms the day when the Muslims put all of their efforts into
achieving the homeland which they deserve the most. For the Muslims, this is the day
when Allah showers all his blessings on them. Allah created this nation as unique and
independent so no one slaves to anyone. It is the mark of the successful constitutional
transition of Pakistan just as from the dominion to the Islamic Republic that turns out to
be the world’s first Islamic republic.
Qarardad e Pakistan was presented on 23 March 1940 in Lahore then they all the leaders
decided that we will make the separate state where people live with full freedom. After a
few years, they succeeded in their mission and made a separate state for all the
community.
Let’s welcome this year 23rd March Resolution Day with great zeal and zest!
