 Learn about identification of emotions and how to communicate with others in a
better way

Dear students,
Facial expressions are one of the most important aspects of human communication.
The human face is responsible for communicating not only thoughts or ideas, but also
emotions. What makes the communication of emotions interesting is that it appears
as if some of these expressions of emotion (e.g., happiness, sadness, fear, anger,
disgust, surprise and to a lesser extent contempt, embarrassment, interest, pain, and
shame).
In this regard, here is an interesting activity for you.
The pictures of different types of emotions are mentioned in the table
below. Your task is to identify the specific emotion and provide one real life
example due to which you have experienced that particular emotion in a certain
situation.

Surprise When I joined my unit after finishing my
training .on my first day of duty I saw fighter

group, they were looking very charming and

Instructions to follow:
 In the column of Identification of Emotion, the name of particular emotion
depicted in the picture should be clearly mentioned.
 In the column of real life example, you have to provide the example relevant
to the particular emotion from your own life. Do not copy the example from
any source(Handouts, web source or from other students), otherwise your
assignment will be marked ZERO and there will be not any relaxation in
this regard.
 Do not write unnecessary details while giving the answer as unnecessary
details will not be awarded with extra marks.

Note:
Only in the case of Assignment, 24 hours extra / grace period after the due date
is usually available to overcome uploading difficulties which may be faced by
the students on last date. This extra time should only be used to meet the
emergencies and above-mentioned due dates should always be treated as final to
avoid any inconvenience.
