5. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

a) Learn new teaching strategies and techniques in improving literacy and numeracy.
b) Capacitate teachers with knowledge, skills and attitudes in the content knowledge
and pedagogy, contextualization of learning materials, strategies and authentic
assessment of learning and professional growth and development.
c) Know the needs to improve the wash in school program and infer different
recreational activities for teachers to avoid stress in work.
d) Develop numeracy skills using interactive technology.

7. OVERVIEW, RATIONALE:

Pursuant to Division Memo No. 25, s. 2022 Department of Education reiterates the
conduct of In-service training which aims to enhance, gain new knowledge and skills for
teachers continuing professional development and preparation of instructional materials.
Teaching methods, tactics, and strategies for literacy and numeracy will be covered in this
training. Teachers can use this as a learning resource to support the literacy and numeracy
development of pupils.
In this regard, Binanuaanan Sur Elementary School will be conducting an In-Service
Training on Capacity Building on Literacy, Numeracy, and other School Programs. The said
activity aims to help the teachers to enhance their knowledge, skills, and learn different
approaches in teaching literacy, numeracy, and other school programs.
