Dear Members of the Selection Committee,

I am writing to express my interest in participating in the student exchange within the framework
of the double degree agreement between the Université d'Artois and the Faculty of Pholosophy,
University of Niš. As a second year student pursuing a degree in philology of the French
language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy, University in Niš, I believe that this
opportunity will not only expand my academic and personal horizons, but also provide me with a
unique cultural experience that will enhance my overall growth.

As an individual who values diverse perspectives and cross-cultural exchange, I am eager to


engage with students from different backgrounds and nationalities. Ever since I visited Paris,
Reims and Strasbourg in 2018, I have been fascinated by the culture and traditions of France.
The chance to immerse myself in another academic environment in a country that has a special
place in my heart, makes me excited to gain deeper insights into the social and cultural norms
of the country I will be visiting.

I am a highly motivated and responsible student who is committed to achieving academic


excellence, which could be reflected through my maintained high GPA. In addition to my
academic pursuits, I am an active participant in various extracurricular activities. I have been
involved in the French publishing house "Slavitude", which is in cooperation with the Sorbonne
University, volunteering at various festivals in my hometown, as well as dancing and volleyball,
which has helped me to develop strong leadership skills and to work effectively as part of a
team. I believe that these skills will enable me to be a positive ambassador for my home
institution and to represent my country with honor and pride during my time abroad.

I am confident that my academic and personal achievements demonstrate my ability to succeed


in the program and contribute to the university community. I am willing to take on new
challenges, adapt to new situations, and engage actively in academic and extracurricular
activities. I am also committed to being a responsible and respectful representative of my home
university and my country.

In conclusion, I am eager to embark on this journey and participate in your student exchange
program. I believe that this program will provide me with an exceptional learning experience and
help me develop the necessary skills to become a successful global citizen. I am grateful for
your consideration, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the vibrant academic
community at Université d'Artois.
