Grade 1: Reading #2

We need to wait for the school bus. We need to


wait next to the bus stop.
We wave to the bus driver in the yellow school
bus. The bus driver has brown hair and a blue
shirt. We need to wait for him to stop before
getting on.
The three of us will get on the yellow school bus
and go to school. We need to sit still and be
quiet on the bus!
Grade 1: Reading #2

We need to cross the road. It is not safe. We


need to wait for the man to show the stop sign
for the cars.
We need to walk across the zebra crossing
slowly. It is not safe to run. The man will help us
go the right way.
We need to stay safe when crossing roads!
Grade 1: Reading #2

The girl needs to eat lots of good foods. Bad


foods will make her feel sick. Good foods will
make her strong!
Fruits and vegetables are good foods. She is
eating red strawberries. In the bowl she has an
eggplant, a red pepper, a yellow pepper,
broccoli, lettuce, and some tomatoes.
Grade 1: Reading #2

We need to listen to our teacher when she is


talking. She stands in front of us when teaching
us.
If we want to speak, we need to put our hand
up and wait. The teacher will pick us if she
wants us to speak.
Our teacher is fantastic!
