Opening Message

To our exuberant school director, Rev. Fr. Albert Delvo, supportive finance officer,
_______________________, hardworking faculty and staff, valued parents and guardians, beloved learners, a
pleasan good afternoon/goodmorning/good evening to all of you.

It was twenty-two years ago when San Isidro Catholic School responded to the call to become a laborer in the
vineyard of the Lord. We are tasked with sowing the seeds of faith among our young people today so that when
the right time comes, as we envisioned, they too will someday become sowers of good faith in our society,
which will build a Christ-centered community, upholding the will of God and living a life following the
examples of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The journey of SILCS throughout these years clearly reflected the well-crafted theme of this grand celebration,
SILCS: 22 Years of Sowing the Seeds of Faith.

Working under the patronage of St. Isidore, who himself was a holy laborer, SILCS takes pride in
accomplishing our mission of providing excellent Catholic education to our learners, then and now. Though the
road to what and who we are now was not easy, it is with the guidance of the Holy Spirit that we keep on
striving and moving forward in molding our young generation in the likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Even during the rough times brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, where every moment seems to be
hopeless and difficult, we as a community continue to press forward and take this challenging situation as an
instrument of hope and a reflection of generosity for our brothers and sisters who are in dire need. Despite the
odds, we stand united, and with a good heart, we continue to bring the light of Christ during this time of
darkness and turmoil.

SILCS did not falter when it came to innovating new ways of delivering quality education in the new normal.
The institution embraced the idea of using technology, social media, and educational platforms, among others,
to ensure that our Silicians will still receive the quality education and Christian formation that they deserve.
SILCS stands with the rest of the world in saying that learning must never stop. And so, we worked hard for the
sake of the teaching mission. We innovate for the sake of our young learners.

Perhaps the key to our success is our faith in the Lord. It is through our faith in the Lord that we find the
courage to journey with the young and bring positive change into their lives. It is through our faith that we have
kept on standing firm in accomplishing our vision and mission for 21 years and counting. It is through our love
for God that we continue sowing the seeds of faith among all members of the community, praying that someday
in the near future, our children will become disciples of Christ and ignite the hearts of their fellow youth to
believe in Christ.

With all these considered blessings from above, it is just right and fitting to celebrate this milestone with you as
an expression of gratitude to God for His continued guidance and as our way of telling you, our dear
stakeholders, that San Isidro Labrador Catholic School is here and will continue accomplishing its mission of
proclaiming God's love and molding young hearts to be future-ready!

Good day and God bless.
