PIURA: WHAT CAN YOU SEE IN THIS CITY?


Piura is much appreciated for its colonial buildings, such as The Cathedral of
Piura with its golden altar. The "Plaza de Armas", a small square linead to
tamarindos trees. The Church of San Francisco, where Piura declared its
independence from Spain in 1821. Also, There’s a Miguel Grau Museum, a place full
of history. Here, there a lot of photos and memories of the 19th century war hero.

CAN Y O U DO People usually visit the tourist places.
But nowadays people prefer to go the

Here, they‘re surfing on the beach,
building sand castles, or playing any
sport.
Also, you can eat in many restaurants
through the center of Talara.
After, travelers spend time with their
families while walking around the Main
square.

If you want a special souvenir, you

There’re many handicrafts like straw
hats, ceramics, jewelry, vases, even
toys for children.
The best, these products are
handmade and aren’t much expensive.
So, you can find them, on the street "El
Comercio" and next to, in the "Casa de
la Cultura".
Also, there’re is a mall called Plaza
Real.
Here, there’re a lot of clothes, shoes,
and others.
