6 Fundamentals of Graphic Design

1. Alignment – the umbrellas are in a diagonal line

2. Repetition – the patterns and direction of the umbrellas are the same
3. Contrast – the green and yellow umbrellas serve as the background for the blue
umbrella to pop

4. Hierarchy – the umbrellas are shown as big, bigger, biggest


5. Balance-Symmetry – the umbrellas show stability which create balance

6. Balance Through Tension – there is tension between the blue and green umbrella
and the negative space in between
