The result of the Regional Mid-Year Assessment in English shows that items 1,2,3,10, 11, 12,
13, 14 and 15 are the most learned competencies whereas test items 4,5,,6,7,8,9,18,19,
and 21 are the least learned competencies.
Based on the data gathered, out of 59 examinees, 46 or 77.97% have mastered the
skills in ENGLISH 1, while 13 or 22.03% did not master the skills.

Based on the result of the test item, 9 items or 36% of it were mastered by the pupils.
There are 3 items in test questions fall in understanding while applying, analyzing,
evaluating and creating levels are the least learned skills with 0 question test item per
level.
On the other hand, remembering level have the most learned skills with 6 test question
items.

MPL in English 2, while 19.70% did not achieve the MPL.
It also revealed that "Identify the basic sequence of events and make relevant predictions
about stories (EN2RC-IIId-e-2.4)" is the top least mastered skill.
On the other hand, the topmost mastered skill is ".Classify/Categorize sounds heard
(animals, mechanical, objects, musical instruments, environment, speech (EN2PA-Ia-c-1.1)"

Analysis:
Most pupils have difficulty in learning the competencies which fall under Applying,
Analyzing, and Evaluating based on Bloom’s Taxonomy (Cognitive Level)
Interpretation:
This means that most pupils had less understanding of the objectives and mastery of the
lessons involving High Order Thinking Skills.

in English, while 20.60% did not achieve the MPL.
It also revealed that “Identify the structure,purpose,and language features of different text

The above data shows that 83.87%, or 84%, of the learners who took the test achieved or
exceeded the MPL in English, while 16% of them were unable to achieve the target MPL in
English 5.
Regarding the interviews with the learners showed that, over a long period of time, they have a
tendency not to remember certain lessons they had learned in the previous two quarters because
it also has a broad scope like the other major subjects.

The result of the Regional Mid-Year Assessment in English shows that items 45, 46, 47,
9, 12, 30, 1, 8, 16, and 33 are the most learned competencies whereas test items 25, 35,
39, 6, 34, 36, 48, 13, 7, 40, and 39 are the least learned competencies.
Based on the data gathered, out of 42 examinees, 36 or 85.71% have mastered the
skills in ENGLISH 6, while 5 or 14.29% did not master the skills.

Based on the result of the test item, 10 items or 20% of it were mastered by the
pupils. There are 2 items in test questions fall in remembering level, 3 items under analyzing
level and 1 item for applying level. On the other hand, creating and evaluating levels are
the least learned skills with both 0 test question item while understanding level has the
most learned skills with 4 test question items.
