Guideline To Fill Professional Experience Section For Bem Outcome

This document provides guidelines for applicants filling out the professional experience section of an outcome-based professional assessment application for the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Applicants should [1] add a statement of training and experience, [2] complete the employment section, [3] write "Refer to Appendix PAE-1" to describe their experience, [4] fill in their months of experience, [5] provide details of the professional engineer they worked under, [6] provide details of a professional engineer with personal knowledge of their experience, [7] save the draft or save and notify the referenced engineer for confirmation, and [8] once experience is confirmed, submit the application and proceed to payment.

GUIDELINE TO FILL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SECTION

FOR BEM OUTCOME-BASED PAE APPLICANT

1. At Professional Experience, please click Add Statement of Training & Experience

2. Please complete the Employment section

3. At Statement of Training and Experience section, please write Refer to APPENDIX PAE-1 as below:

4. Please fill your number of months of experience at Experience Area (General) or Experience Area
(Professional), which is applicable

5. Please fill Professional Engineer / Engineer Under Whom Served as in APPENDIX PAE-1 column III

6. Please fill Professional Engineer who has personal knowledge of Applicant’s training or experience in the
period mentioned as in APPENDIX PAE-1 column V

7. Please click Save to save the draft of your application, or click Save & Notify Engineer to Confirm for
confirmation by the Professional Engineer (PE). A notification email will be sent to Professional Engineer who
has personal knowledge of Applicant’s training or experience in the period mentioned for verification. You
are recommended to contact the PE once you submit the request for confirmation your experience

8. Once your experience has been confirmed by the PE as below, you may submit your application and you
will be directed to online payment window
