A. Before Energize supply ac/dc voltage (Preliminaries) on LCC Panel;


1. Check earthing of GIS bays and Local Control Cubicle.
2. All electrical connections within the earthing system shall be properly installed.
3. Earthing system shall not be interrupted at any point.
4. Earthing system shall be inspected before commissioning.

B. Visual Inspections;
• of devices for damages.
• of all terminal for correct design and proper connection.

C. Resistant Measurement;
• Check resistance between +(L) and –(N) of all control/alarm circuits to detect any short-circuits.
• Check resistance between + and PE, as well as – and PE, of all control/alarm circuits to detect
any earth-faults.

D. Voltage Measurement;
• Check auxiliary voltage supply at terminals for:
› Voltage ac/dc, ( pahse - ground; + and ground; - and ground; + and - )
› Polarity supply dc.

E. Energization of Local Control Cubicle;


• Energization of all control/alarm circuits.
› Check auxiliary voltage supply at MCBs for:
- Voltage ac/dc, ( pahse - ground; + and ground; - and ground; + and - )
› Check for separated circuits. Switch off each MCB one by one.
› Symmetrical earthing of battery system: (if available)
- Check voltage between + and PE, as well as – and PE, + and - ;
› Each circuit has to be potential free!
