DI Saturday Essays For ENGR 102
Biomedical engineering combines mechanical, chemical and electrical engineering and puts it
within the human body. I learned about bio-painting, there was a lot of expansion of the branch
of what biomedical engineering can do. It’s recommended to get a Bachelors of Science and a
Masters Degree when pursuing this degree. This major would get me a good job and a good
education on the human body. I have always been interested in anatomy and the intricacies of
the human body. We break down polymers and add linkers to it and it bio-degrades it, which
they observe. They also study particles and they have some different flow profiles, depending
on how many nanoparticles they add in, they get some different printing characteristics. And
they might have higher cell solubility. The range of biomedical engineering is huge because it is
both the study of the body and the engineering within the body and the tissue within our bodies.
There is a broad application of both math and science within biomedical engineering. The goal
is bedside printing, which is taking cells from a patient, and then regrowing them, and then
printing them the organ or skin. The concerns are diseases and the timeline is hard because
there are more restrictive hazards because of the concerns regarding the patients. I think I’d
bring a positive impact to this branch because I’d be willing to learn and grow within this
department.
Aerospace Engineering DI Saturday
All engineers in aerospace go through 5 years of college for their BS, and they have to take a
last course of design and 3 electives but they reduced their credit hours so it is easier. It’s not a
2 year technical college, but it’s math and science and sometimes 60 students, and they have a
1 hour class, and then a chance to get students to work together. They recommend people to
take many or multiple UCC’s over the summer and it’ll make your workload during the semester
easier on the people who are taking aerospace as their major. You also take a basic material
engineering course with an emphasis on lightweight materials for planes and spacecrafts. There
are multiple aerospace and aerodynamic forces in both space and in air, with orbital dynamics.
They also offer 6 to 9 electives per semester. They also have large wind tunnels to test flight
parts and simulators. I think I’d bring a positive impact to this branch because I’d be willing to
learn and grow within this department. It’s recommended to get a Bachelors of Science and a
Masters Degree when pursuing this degree. This major would get me a good job and would get
me to understand planes which I have always been interested in. They get students to work in
small groups and build planes or models to test them. Sometimes they even take the class and
turn it into a club outside of class and take them to competitions.
