Dear Parents,
Greetings for the day!
At Sarvottam, we perceive you as our core partners in the enterprise of educating our children for life. We invite
all the parents to join the school’s effort in shaping our children into young adults who possess a positive outlook
and are sensitive and responsible to the needs of others.
School Timings
❖ School Summer timings will be as per the following schedule:
Pre- Nursery to KG – 8:20am – 12: 30pm
Classes I to XII - 7:20 am – 1:40pm
❖ Gates will be closed at 8.30am and 7.25am respectively.
❖ Dispersal: Walker dispersal for grades 1 to 12 will be as follows:
o Unescorted dispersal grades 6 to 12: 1.45pm (Unescorted dispersal in not allowed for
students below grade 6)
o Escorted dispersal grades 1 to 12: 2pm
o Escorted dispersal grades Pre-Nursery- KG: 12.00-12.10pm
❖ Kindly adhere to the school timings strictly, as the gates will be closed at 7:25am and 8:30am sharp.
❖ Necessary disciplinary action will be taken against habitual late comers.
Recess:
❖ There will be two recess during the day:
Fruit Break- (Please send one fruit diced along with a fork. Avoid sending diced bananas as they
get soggy)
Lunch Break:
As per following menu (Grades Kindergarten to V):
DAYS MENU
MONDAY Chapati/Purie/Parantha/Cheela and vegetable
TUESDAY Sandwich/ Idli/Poha/Upma
WEDNESDAY Chapati/Purie/Parantha/ Cheela and vegetable
THURSDAY Stuffed paratha/ Veg rice/ Pasta
FRIDAY Any food of his/her choice

Books and Stationery


❖ Kindly do not cover the books with brown paper; only talc (plastic sheet) should be used to cover the
books.
❖ Labels to be put up on the right-hand side at the top of the book.
❖ Kindly label bags, bottles, and all personal belongings with permanent marker. Please specify name
class and section of the child.
❖ For classes Pre-Nursery to Class-I all the books, notebooks & stationery will be submitted with the
school. However, the child will be carrying the daily assignment books only.
❖ Almanac will be sent to all by the second week of April.
Uniform
❖ Kindly send your child in proper uniform with temporary I card provided.
❖ Boys to keep short hair.
❖ Girls with short hair to wear black hair bands or tie their hair in ponytails using black rubber bands.
❖ Sikh boys to wear black patkas.
❖ Students up to class II are allowed to come to school in civil clothes on their birthdays. To mark the
occasion children can do the following:
-Students can distribute only toffees (2 per child).
-Students can donate a plant to the school.
❖ Girls should wear black cycling shorts under the skirt.

Transport
❖ All students and teachers using the school bus are expected to be on the left side of the bus stop at least 5
minutes before the arrival time of the bus.
❖ The buses will not wait for late-comers.
❖ If the Escort Card is lost, the second Escort Card will be issued on payment of Rs. 100/- at the account’s
office.
❖ Please refrain from calling the driver unnecessarily as it might distract him.
❖ Even if a child uses the school transport one-way, full payment has to be made for both ways.
❖ The parent/guardian/escort should come to pick the student at the bus stop, (Classes Pre-Nursery to V)
failing which the student will not be handed over. He/she will be brought back to school. For rest an
application can be sent to obtain a consent that the child can be dropped at the bus stop in the absence of
an escort.
❖ In case of change of residence, a notice period of one week should be given through a written
application/E-MAIL
❖ Fee is payable for 11 months.
❖ 1-month notice period to withdraw the facility.
❖ Payment to be done by 10th Day of the first month of the Quarter, failing which late charges are
applicable.

Skating activity, Self-Defense & Horse Riding (Nursery Onwards)


❖ Parents are required to send a Skating Kit by 10th April’2023 which includes:
1. Adjustable skates with rubber wheels (JONNEX)
2. Knee pads
3. Elbow pads
4. Helmet
❖ They should be well labeled and please send it in a sturdy bag to withstand the weight of all the items.
(Skating kits will be submitted in the school for classes Nursery to Grade 1).
❖ Skates should have laces and strap attached.
❖ Kindly make your ward wear simple white canvas shoes on the days of these activities as per the timetable
which will be shared soon.
❖ Girls should wear black cycling shorts under the skirt.
Splash Pool Activity (Nursery Onwards)
❖ Kindly make your ward wear swimming costume under school uniform.
❖ Kindly make your ward wear floaters /crocs on the days they have swimming as per the timetable which
will be shared soon.
❖ Send a towel and undergarments.
❖ Send swimming cap.
❖ Send a comb.
Things to be submitted in school - Grooming Kit (Pre Nursery – Grade 2)

Personal grooming is essential to enhance our overall image. It helps us to feel confident. To foster holistic
development and personal grooming routines in our students, following items to be submitted with the class
teacher by 6th April’2023.
• Grooming kit (one transparent pouch, comb, small moisturizer)
• One set of clothes (labelled)
• P-cap
• One set of labelled plastic cutlery (glass, spoon, fork, quarter plate) for table manners activities.

Early Dispersal

• Requests for early dispersals will not be entertained with effect from this academic session.
• In case a child is unwell, please do not send the child to school. If the child is still sent to school only for
the exam and the Parents later request to pick the child before the end of the day, the child will be
marked ML for the day, despite having written the exam.
