Exercise:
1- Fill in the blanks with the correct words.
a. The Cut option is used to cut the selected part of a drawing.
b. The Zoom in option shows a larger view of the image.
c. The Zoom out option shows a smaller view of the image.

performed.

Q:1 What do you use the paint software for?
Ans. Paint software allows user to draw on computer.

Q:2 What are the functions of Cut and Paste tools?


Ans. Cut removes the item from its current location and Paste Insert that item into
the new location.
Q:3 Which tool you will use to duplicate an image?
Ans. The Copy option is used to duplicate the selected part of drawing.
Q:4 Why we use Flip and Rotate tool in Ms. Paint?
Ans. We can use Rotate or Flip tool to change the angle of whole or selected part of
drawing.
Q:5 What is the use of Skew tool?
Ans. The skew tool twists the drawing in horizontal or vertical directions.

Q:6 Write steps for setting drawing as desktop background.


Ans: 1- Click the paint button and then point to set as desktop background.
2- Select any one type of the three options Fill, Tile, or center.
