GLOBAL LEAN MANAGER

B. POSITION DESCRIPTION
As Global Lean Manager you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Hilti`s after-market service
operations.

This role will be responsible for developing programs to ensure an optimized flow of people, information and
material through the service centres, and collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure that Hilti provides
an outstanding service level to its customers in a productive manner.

We consider this role as development position. This means we want to bring in a future leader of the
organization.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, describe and prioritize opportunities for improving (a) the service level to our customers and the
long-term productivity of our tool service centers
- Continuous improvement of processes through Lean methodologies as well as the development, successful
introduction and follow-up of Hilti Lean Core.
- Analyze digital and non-digital workflows and value streams in our global network of service centres to
identify improvement opportunities
- Propose opportunities to optimize the global aftermarket service infrastructure to provide an outstanding
service level at a competitive cost
- Inspire the organization regarding digital principles, systems and methods to drive end-to-end
improvements and sustainability
- Proposing new technologies, support in the layout design of existing and new Tool Service Centres to
improve our service level or further increase efficiency
- Together with business leaders in the market regions identify and assess opportunities to improve the
customer experience in individual markets
- Present program and process concepts to cross functional teams, including the executive team

C. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong interest in operations (manufacturing, service operations, logistics)


- University degree (Bachelor’s or Diploma)
- Higher university degree (Master’s degree, MBA, Ph.D.)
- Minimum of four years of relevant work experience in operations, ideally in an international
- environment
- Strong conceptual competence and analytical thinking
- Ability to craft a direction including the definition of clear priorities
- Change management skills, and experience in working in a matrix organization
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
