In His Love & Service,

Bishop E. Bernard & Prophet Debra Jordan

This book is dedicated to the memory of my father,
Walter B. Jordan, whose demonstration of tenacity
in the midst of life's adversities became the catalyst
for the fulfillment of my dreams.
FOREWORD
I heard about Bishop E. Bernard Jordan long be-
fore I met him. Ministers told me that he was "ex-
tremely articulate, profound and uncanny in his
prophecies, and years ahead of his age." He is much
more.
This young man of God has the rare ability to
hear the voice of God ...AND...the cries of the
people. He is a Golden Link. A Bridge. A Turning
Point. God uses him to change the seasons in the
lives of thousands.
That's why this book will change your life.
Forever.
The Making of the Dream explains seasons, rela-
tionships, and attitudes you need to birth the vision
God has planted in your spirit. Walls will crumble.
Mountains of doubt will move. You will
SEE ...through the eyes of God.
It is quite possible that this book will explode in
your heart ...and catapult you to the highest realm
you've ever known.
You are holding the "Turning Point" in your
hand right now. Read it. Again again and again.
Yours for His wisdom,

Mike Murdock
AUTHOR'S PREFACE
How many times have we experienced a thought
or impulse during a "daydream" that we have reck-
oned impossible? How many times have we fool-
ishly cast away the divinely inspired idea that came
as a gift from the Throne of God? How many times
have we negated the very thing that would catapult
us into the level of prosperity that would match the
level of the Word within us? THE MAKING OF
THE DREAM has been written as an encourage-
ment to the Body of Christ, and is especially dedi-
cated to all of those who are still using the word
"impossible" in their daily vocabulary. As you
study the principles within this book, you will find
that "impossible" will be replaced by "Him-Pos-
sible", for all things are possible with God!
Dreams are like seeds--they must be planted in
the earth, die, and produce fruit that will be enjoyed
by the multitudes. Dreams which are divinely in-
spired will come, not to satisfy your own personal
lusts, but to fulfill the purposes of God. As you be-
gin to pursue the manifestation of the Kingdom of
God in your life, you will eagerly anticipate the ful-
fillment of the dream; understanding that the dream
comes to accomplish His will through you.
"And the Lord answered me, and said, Write
the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he
may run that readeth it."
Habakkuk 2:2
Begin to record your dreams; write them down
and place them under scrutiny. For as you begin to
ponder them, the plan will be established, and you
will see them come to pass. Dreams are of great
value to those who will walk with God and actively
seek their fulfillment. Let's stop "casting our pearls
before swine", and reach for the prize of the high
calling in Christ Jesus!

GET OUT OF
THE BOAT!
"...And straightway, Jesus constrained His
disciples to get into a ship nnd to go before Him
unto the other side while He sent the multitudes
away.
And when He had sent the multitudes away,
He went up into a mountain apart to pray, and
when the evening was come, He was there alone.
But the ship was now in the midst of the sea
tossed with waves for the wind was contrary.
And in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus
went unto them walking on the sea.
And when the disciples saw Him walking on
the sea, they were troubled saying, it is a spirit
and they cried out for fear.
But straightway Jesus spake unto them
saying, be of good cheer, it is I, be not afraid.
Get Out Of The Boat!

And Peter answered Him and said, Lord, if it

be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
And he said, Come. And when Peter was
come down out of the ship he walked on the
water to go to Jesus."
Matthew 14:22-29
Take the risk that God is asking you to take!
Many times we don't want to do the unfamiliar
because it has never been done before, but being
stagnant is actually keeping us from moving to the
next plateau that the Father has for us.
For example, from the above scripture, the Lord
gave me a revelation. While Peter was getting out of
the boat to follow Jesus, the other eleven disciples
just sat there, paralyzed by their fear of the unfamil-
iar. They all knew Jesus, heard His bid to walk on
the water and do the impossible with the Master
watching over every step, and yet only Peter dared
to get out of the safety of the boat to walk towards
Jesus. Are you willing to get out of your safety
zone to walk closer and closer to Jesus every day of
your life?

Those who yield themselves to the Holy

Spirit experience God's miracles because they
seek the full manifestation of the kingdom of
God in their lives.
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

People get lazy and fearful to the point where

they become afraid of challenge. They're afraid to
bring new discoveries to their generation. God
wants to show His glory through the body of Christ
by bringing a level of joy and prosperity that has
never been known to man before. This will be
manifested through wonderful family relationships
and friendships. Scientific and artistic genius in
oneself will be discovered as we (the body of Christ)
devote our God-given talents to praise the Name of
Jesus. We will experience the joy of the mighty
anointing on our children as they take their author-
ity as sons and daughters of God - knowing and
hearing the truth from infancy. The reality of the
covenant we have with the Lord Jesus and the body
of Christ will bring a powerful unity as never before
as we listen and do what the Holy Spirit is prompt-
ing us to do in this hour. We must command the
powers of darkness under our feet and forbid them
to operate in our flesh, relationships, loved ones and
communities. God wants vessels that are seeking
His instructions, proceeding with immediate action
in His armor and might.
Many who seek God's direction for their lives are
getting the answers, whether it be through a still
small voice of the Holy Spirit, God's Word or God's
Prophet. Some allow pride to cause them to reject
the path God has chosen for them to walk. Others
receive the Word, but through fear and doubt, are

letting the devil keep them in a cold, damp boat;

thinking they are safe when they could be walking
on water with Jesus!

Remember this: Only the chosen disciples

were invited in the boat in the first place, so
when you are challenged with a vision that
would promote God's Kingdom, think of your-
self as a chosen disciple and go for it!

The fact that you picked up this book, and are

reading it this very moment is not an accident!
Your steps are ordered by the Lord Himself!
Don't be concerned if people think you're too
short, too poor, too fat, too ignorant, etc.
As we press on, dressed in our battle gear as
mentioned in Ephesians 6:11, remember that we
"...come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ ..." It was God Who gave us the
dream in the first place! God uses the foolish things
of the world to confound the wise. He uses the
uneducated to educate the educated. Feeling foolish,
inadequate or stupid is an unacceptable excuse for
not performing miracles through Christ Jesus.
I find that precious things of value are made
under pressure. If you're not experiencing various
irritations, then you're not a pearl! Opposition is

If you're not experiencing pressure or opposi-

tion in your life, then you need to be
concerned because it means that, evidently,

healthy because it promotes the formation of

precious stones.
I know that I've been challenged to get out of the
boat! I have been challenged to venture out and do
some things in the "unknown" that I have never
done before! And yet, there are even greater chal-
lenges ahead! However, I know that with every
challenge, the enemies to my faith will always
present themselves and attempt to crush the dream!
The Lord impressed on me that opposition is
profitable as long as you don't let it get inside of

their natural eyes.

you, but sit on it's crest and ride it all the way to
your goal. War in the spirit and not in the flesh!
Get Out Of The Boat!

Either people can hop on board with you or they

can miss the ride! As long as we keep our focus on
God, whatever He decrees will be handled through
His hands -- Hallelujah! Let the opposition be as a
stone in the oyster, who coats that stone with the
contents of his innermost being and creates a pearl.
Let your love of God and your faith in Him coat the
irritations and frustrations of your life until the
pearl of your dream comes to pass!
This is a time of sifting in the body of Christ. It
is a time when waste must be eliminated. Our natu-
ral body thrives on the process of eliminating waste,
and demonstrates what happens when waste is
retained. The initial discomfort is soon replaced by
an urgency to expel, and if this process is blocked,
the waste becomes poisonous to the body, and can
eventually cause death. In every harvest, there are
some individuals that will become "waste" and
must be eliminated in order to attain the dream. We
experience seasons of purging so that God can keep
the pure flow of that which He wants to come forth.
If we make the proper preparation, we will go
through that season without becoming the problem.
Chapter 2
GET RID OF THE
MULTITUDE!
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me,
not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye
did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not
for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat
which endureth unto everlasting life, which the
Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath
God the Father sealed."
John 16:26,27
Jesus and His disciples had just finished feeding
the multitude. The crowd had seen the miraculous
take place when He multiplied the fishes and
loaves. Afterwards, Jesus departed alone to a moun-
tain. He left the disciples and had them enter a ship
because he needed some time away from the
demand for performance that issued from the mul-

titude. He perceived that their warped concept of

His purpose would initiate a desire to make Him
their king--not because they recognized the Glory of
God that performed the miracle, or that they recog-
nized Him as the promised Messiah, but rather,
they were astounded at the beneficent miracle that
placed bread and fish in their bellies; and they
wanted more of the same.

The multitude will always follow in an

attempt to see what they can receive.

Yet, when the times get tight, and testing comes,

the multitude will begin to flee and say "There's too
much heat in the kitchen!" In other words, they will
love you for the fringe benefits of your anointing
rather than for the anointing itself. So when perse-
cution or commitment comes, or a demand for per-
sonal responsibility is placed upon their shoulders,
they, like parasites, will quickly depart and find
someone else to feed from. (This can be materially,
emotionally, spiritually, etc.).
Go to the Lord for comfort when you find your-
self deserted because you're following God's
prophetic dream for your life. When you have
chosen to walk by faith in the midst of those who
are walking by sight, know that one of God's many

redemptive names is Jehovah Gemuwlah -- "The

Revealing Lord of Recompense." He will restore the
friends, family and money that you have had to
separate yourself from due to persecution and evil,
and Jehovah Jirah (The God of Provision) shall give
one hundred fold returns, in ways that you can't
perceive!
Remember, only one out of the twelve disciples
dared to walk on water to reach Jesus. Taking the
risk to fulfill God's purpose in your life will not
always be the most popular decision, but Jesus will
never leave you nor forsake you. He will be with
you until the end of time!
Chapter 3
DON'T CLOSE YOUR
EARS TO GOD!
"When Jesus therefore perceived that they
would come and take him by force, to make him
a king, he departed again into a mountain
himself alone."
John 6:15
In this verse, we see Jesus climbing a mountain to
reach His place of prayer. He needed time to sepa-
rate from the crowd and recollect His thoughts.
There are times when we need to sit silently in the
Presence of God and listen to His instructions
through the Holy Spirit.
It would have been easy for Jesus to allow the
people to make Him their king and avoid the
torture and hatred He had to suffer, rather than

becoming the final sacrifice for all mankind. In the

natural, He would have accepted one of the most
powerful posts for a man in His time; however,
Jesus knew that this kingdom was satan's and had
He fell for the satanic temptations that accosted His
character, He would have been ruling under Satan
rather than sitting at the right hand of Almighty
God. Instead of basking in the adoration of men, He
chose the love of His heavenly Father.
There will be times when the devil will tempt
you just as he did Jesus. He'll offer you a "good
name", or "title" that will assuage your ego and be
contrary to what God told you to do. When Satan's
first two offers on the Mount of Temptation failed,
he tried what he thought was one of his most pow-
erful weapons -- he tried to appeal to Jesus' pride.
Jesus, however, was filled with the Holy Spirit and
understood His purpose before confronting Satan.
When Satan offered Jesus the kingdoms of the
world, He had power over His own flesh to cast
down Satan, even though He must have been lonely
and hungry from His 40 day fast. He knew that He
would only reside in His fleshly body temporarily
and had, after all, created this very planet with the
Father. (He, with the Father, had even created Luci-
fer (Satan) as a beautiful praise angel who rebelled
against God and was thrown out of heaven.)
We must always remember that God is all
powerful and nothing is impossible for Him to
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

accomplish. Your enemy, satan, was defeated over

two thousand years ago. Proverbs tells us that
"pride goes before a fall". Satan is always appealing
to our pride because that is what made him fall.
Praising God Almighty through Jesus Christ brings
us into His Presence and reminds our flesh that we
serve the highest God. It is important to renew our
minds with the power of God's Word because the
devil is powerless over God's obedient children!
Prayer should be a time when we are quiet;
where we are opening our ears to hear the voice of
the Spirit of God. Let him that has an ear hear what
the Spirit is saying unto the church and let us
receive instruction and direction as to that which
God is saying to do.
God wants to bring us into a place of prayer.
Jesus went where He would not be disturbed while
talking and listening to the Father. God wants some
time alone with all of us so that He can instruct us
in our vision and keep us planted against the
contrary winds.
In Matthew 14, the contrary winds were trying to
throw the boat that Jesus and his disciples were sail-
ing in off course. Jesus, very calmly, and from a
deep sleep, awoke to the panic of His disciples and
rebuked the winds. Instantly, all was calm. What
are the contrary winds that beset us today? Jealousy,
persecution, "funny money" (financial setbacks), and

other various trials and tribulations. Know this one

thing: The enemy is not going to back off just be-
cause you are following God. He will try to keep
you sidetracked through hurt feelings, worry, lazi-
ness, etc. This is why God spoke to the prophet
Jeremiah and said " D o not be afraid of their faces."
God knew that if Jererniah was to allow his atten-
tion to focus on the faces of the people, he'd never
utter a word and become perpetually sidetracked by
a desire to please the people.
Chapter 4
WHAT ABOUT THE
PRO
We need to take heed to God's prophets. (Notice
I said God's prophets. The scripture tells us to
beware of false prophets.) Prophets are given to us
for instruction and encouragement, for their proph-
esying helps to convert dreams to reality. God
desires His will to be done in His sons and daugh-
ters. Rejecting a word from God's prophet is the
same as rejecting a word from God.
Sometimes, foolish pride turns into satanic rebel-
lion and cause you to not receive correction when it
is sent from God. occasion ally^ this is even
disguised as religious spirituality, where people
think they "only need to hear from their own
spirit". God sends us love in the flesh. Let's receive
everything God has for us!
What About The Prophets?

Prophets are extremely sensitive. They can pick

up your most intimate thoughts. They can sense
when you have rejected them in your spirit. This is
why God told Jeremiah "do not be afraid of their
faces"; in other words, He told Jeremiah "You're
going to be able to look right through them and you
are going to know what their heart is really saying.
Their mouths say 'yes', but their heads are saying a
definite 'no!'. Opposition must be present in
order to obtain the necessary leverage.
We've established that you will encounter
contrary winds. Now there are a lot of people who
would say, "That prophet must have missed it. He
told me such and such a thing was going to happen,
but it didn't and a contrary wind began to blow --
He sent me out in the middle of a storm!" But
listen, whenever the Word of the Lord comes, there
are contrary winds that are waiting for you to
oppose your walk. The winds come to change your
focus.
The enemy tries to keep you in the boat, huddled
up and scared instead of walking on the water
through faith. He wants you to say, "What is going
on? What is happening? I am tossed to and fro -- I
am so confused. I thought I heard God, but the
complete opposite is taking place." It is a contrary
wind! Be not deceived!
There are a lot of things that God has spoken to
me and there are always major contrary winds. We
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

These are some of the ways the enemy will

blur your focus:
1. To get you off course ---To intrigue you
with the allure of the world, fame, sins of
the flesh.
2. Causing you to look the wrong way ---

you into disobeying authority through
deception.
3. Causing you to question the power of

are overcomers and can overcome contrary winds.

We must realize that the very sea that tossed the
boat is the same sea that Jesus walked upon. He is
the Master of the sea, and the Master of your
situation. The devil is under our feet and we are to
walk all over him. Jesus is in control no matter what
it looks like! Don't focus on the problem, focus on
the victory! I don't have time to meditate on nega-
tive things, for it's depressing. Before I know it, I
will begin to say, "I can't make it. This thing won't
work. It's too much for me. I didn't ask for all this,
What About The Prophets?

why me? Woe is me ... Woe, woe, is me ... Woe,

woe, woe, is me..!" I know I sound like I've been
inside of some of your prayer closets! Here's more
of the "woe is me" litany: "Lord, why did you let
this happen to me? It's just not fair, it should have
happened another way"! "Why did I end up
marrying him when I could have made another
choice?" Or, "Oh, I am so lonely, why isn't
anybody looking at me? I will be 30 soon and not
married yet; I will soon be 35 and have no children
yet; all the odds have been against me since birth;
even my mother told me I popped up by accident!"
"Why can't I be beautiful?" "I will never have
money!" How come I never win anything?" If you
meditate on all these things, you will never get
anywhere because you're focusing on the contrary
wind instead of the promise of God.
Chapter 5
WHAT ARE YOU
IMAGINING?
We should not preach about sin, but we must
preach about righteousness. Whenever we preach a
graphic message saying "don't fornicate," the image
of that sin will settle itself in the minds of people
and they will cease hearing "don't" and only
respond to "fornicate". If we repeatedly say, "Don't
steal", people will begin to imagine their favorite
department store! We are called to teach the solu-
tion and not preach the problem by first planting
the image of the solution in the minds of the people.
Ask God in your prayer time for visions of victory.
In Matthew 14, when the disciples saw Jesus
walking on the sea, they cried out in fear. When you
encounter things in the Spirit, sometimes it is
strange to your thinking. God said His thoughts are
What Are You Imagining?
higher than ours and His ways are higher than our
ways. Anything you encounter in God will always
be in line with His Word, He puts His Word above
His Name.

When the enemy tries to attack you, the

first thing he does is bring fear, and often
through an evil report.

Try to stay away from nervous, fearful people

because they tend to blow things out of
proportion. Every family has a dramatic alarmist. "I
just heard from the doctor. Did you hear what they
said concerning Ma?" "I don't know what I am
going to do, this is awful -- maybe we should pray
and fast..." And it turns out Ma only has a very
slight cold. Alarmists. Some people are just plain
neurotic, and the root of their neurosis is fear which
proceeds from negative imagery. God wants us to
see His vision of victory, focus on the triumphant
result, see His will and His answer, and behold His
omnipotent power.
I find that, when disciples see their leaders doing
the unfamiliar, fear enters into the picture. Often,
when God has us in a transitional period, we be-
come confused, just as the disciples did when they
first saw Jesus walking on the water. The phenom-

When we begin to move into unfamiliar

enon to them was so foreign that, instead of recog-

nizing Jesus, they feared He was a ghost until they
looked a little closer.
Whenever we're exposed to decisions from our
leaders and can't locate familiar landmarks, we tend
to think our leader must have missed something.
But let us remember we don't see the entire scope
of his vision, because it has not been given to us,
but to the leader. If we did see the fullness of his
vision, we would cease to be a disciple. Let that
which we know and see teach us to trust God for
that which we don't know and don't see.
Trust your leader and the Lord. Those who have
a hunger and desire to be in God's will must real-
ize God's responsibility to communicate it to us. It
is our responsibility to "get up and out of the boat."
Don't be afraid of the unusual and the unfamiliar
like the remaining 11 disciples and miss your
chance to experience new facets in God - but rather,
be as Peter -step out on the water and trust God.
Chapter 6
THE LORD WANTS
OUR MONEY TO BE
FRUITFUL AND
MULTIPLY
Over and over again in the Old Testament, the
Lord tells us "Be ye fruitful and multiply." In those
days, most people were farmers, so fruit was like

money. We need to explore the concepts of endow-

ments, insurance policies and wills, and how to

arrange for a portion to continue the work of the

ministry for generations to come. While you're
absent from your body and enjoying the pleasures
of the Lord, with proper preparation, you can
continue to be a joint supply to the body of Christ.
When I am absent from the body and present with
the Lord, there is going to be a part of me that is
missing until Jesus' Kingdom is established here on
earth and we are all living as Adam and Eve did
before the fall in the Garden of Eden. However,
while I am in heaven, I could leave a substantial
amount of money for the work of the Lord on this
earth, and speak to future generations.
That is done by some Christians, but there are
some that are so busy looking for Jesus to come any
moment, that they've never made preparation for
the future by purchasing decent insurance policies.
When they pass away, their families will have to
beg other family members to help with the burial.
You can live your full 120 years, youthfully, and
"give up the ghost" as Jacob did, leaving your fam-
ily with wisdom and tremendous prosperity, until
you are all joined together again.
Men of God, we should not live a life where our
children have to beg and look to the world's system
for support. That is not God's plan, nor is it His
way. We need to learn how to mete out our money
to our children, so they don't receive it all at once
when they reach 18 -- they will blow it! Teach them
how to invest their funds and live off of the
interest.
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

The Lord has given each of us the ability to

become rich. This is mentioned all through the Old
and New Testaments. God has given each of us a
million dollar idea, whether it be through an inven-
tion, a family business, artistic talent, etc. We can
do all things through Christ Jesus when our motive
is to build His Kingdom on earth. Mothers don't
have to work, and father's don't need two jobs
when God's best is operating. Seek the Lord, do all
that you can, and then stand. Tithe, plant seed,
pray, sow into others' dreams and watch your
vision come to pass! Joshua tells us that if we obey
God and stay in His Word, we will have good
success. Not the kind that the world has, where a
wealthy family may have children who turn out to
be homosexuals, or fall prey to satan's attacks of
loneliness, fear, greed and disease. Rejoice in the
Lord, for the best is yet to come!
The world would try to motivate us by fear
instead of faith. Unfortunately, that is why many
people have gravitated to the church. Everyone
knows about the promise of hell, but when you start
talking about prosperity through faith, people start
getting angry. They will receive "fear talk" easier
than "faith talk". I could write a book called
"Prophecy Book of the Doom of America in 1992:
Things You Must Know". The book would sell a
million copies! Church folks will buy it! Yet fear
will paralyze your faith! We must cast it down, and
not receive the devil's tactics.
The Lord Wants Our Money To
Be Fruitful And Multiply

Courage is the resistance to fear. It is also

the mastery of fear, but it is not the
absence of fear.

The fear will still be there, but courage gives you

the ability to resist it.
Recently, the Lord had me take a trip to minister.
Now, I knew it was the Lord telling me to go, but a
couple of minutes before I left, my daughter got hit
by a car. I had an opportunity to get caught up in
fear and look at the contrary winds, or to press
toward the mark that God was calling me to. Some
of you are entertaining thoughts right now that
sound like "He is really losing it because he should
have canceled his trip immediately!" But when you
know the Voice of the Lord, there's a peace that will
defy all logic and cause you to lean upon Him. I
told my daughter to lift her hands and laid hands
on her saying, "Everything is alright", and I contin-
ued to move towards the purpose God had for me
that day by boarding the plane. The doctor (yes, we
did take the child to the doctor) said there was noth-
ing wrong, and I knew for sure that this accident
was just an enemy to my faith--trying to distract me
off my course. Now, if I had said "I am not going"
and fell prey to fear, someone could have made
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

something real big out of that. I thank God that my

wife is not an alarmist. It was just a peace from God
that was emanating from her. Whenever you are
seeking God's leading, you will find peace in the
midst of the storm, because our God is the Helper,
Provider, Comforter and Master of all circumstances
if we allow Him by our will to operate through our
faith, believing that His purposes will come to pass.
Don't be surprised at the attacks of the enemy. If
you are obeying God and believing for finances, the
devil will try to make you doubt by bringing a bad
report or making inflation seem bigger than God.
But remember, we (born again believers) serve the
Highest God Who created the trees that produced
the paper that made the dollar bill! So don't look
at your circumstances! God has more ideas than
you on how to prosper! Just serve Him, knowing
that you have an enemy, that he will attack; but his
every attack will be defeated in Christ Jesus! Just
believe and you will receive, when you are seeking
God's kingdom. God desires that the body be a tes-
timony of Jesus the Messiah, by having divine
health, living prosperity and operating in love and
joy.
If you want to walk in wealth, you have to first
see yourself walking in wealth. If you are going to
be a millionaire, you have to first see yourself as a
millionaire before the dollars begin to come in. You
must visualize the path you seek to walk in. Some
The Lord Wants Our Money To
Be Fruitful And Multiply

of you will have to fake it until you make it! If you

begin to focus on lack, then all you are going to
have is lack. If you keep saying "I am just working
to pay bills", that is all you are going to work for.
You'll never experience abundance, because that is
what you've trained your body for and what you've
programmed in your mind.
A lot of individuals still harbor a "renter's men-
tality". Now, we are not against renting, but you
need to move beyond seeing rent receipts and start
saying, "I will own a home". Heighten your sights!
Get a picture of the home you desire to own, focus
upon it, begin to dream and say, "This shall be
mine"!
Jacob used this principle when he needed more
cows. He caused the cows to behold a speckled
image and they became what they beheld. You need
to behold something. You need to behold wealth;
even if you have to keep fake monopoly money in
your wallet!
I want you to know that God wants to bring you
into abundance. I don't care what is happening in
the economy! If your covenant is intact, and you
believe God's Word, don't allow a negative image to
get in your mind. Get rid of that stinking thinking!
Many of you have been trained that you are to
walk in poverty. Many of you possess a "renter's
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

mentality" because that's all you've ever been

exposed to. Some of you can trace four generations
of renters in your family tree, and no one owned
anything. When that person died, the only thing
they left you was a nice funeral bill, a drawer full
of rent receipts and some furniture that made you
want to call someone and tell them to dump it on
the street! Does this sound crass? Poverty is WORSE!!
Let me show you a lie. It sounds real "religious",
and it sounds so "nice", but it is a lie from the pit.
Some people get up in church services, attempting
to be pious, and will say, "I give unto the Lord. I
don't give to receive." Then they are giving fool-
ishly! They're giving without faith and without
purpose. You know, it is amazing how the church
gets things so backwards! If you heard a farmer
say, "I'm just planting seeds out here, but I don't
expect a crop to grow up." You would scratch your
head and say, "That farmer is an idiot!" Yet the
enemy convinces you through some deceptive mode
of false humility that you should give and not
expect anything back from God! And guess what?
You have just what you say, for nothing will come
back. Faith is not in operation because you do not
have things hoped for.
God does not need your money, but He does
need you to empty your pockets so that there can be
a vacuum for Him to fill. In other words, God is
saying, "Make some room so I can pour something
The Lord Wants Our Money To
Be Fruitful And Multiply

in there." And you are saying, "Lord I have got to

hold on to the little bit I have." And the Father
says, "I want to fill the vacuum if you will only
open up and give your funds away."

God wants you to get it in your mind that

when you give, you are to get a vision
of receiving.

You have got to get the image in your mind. Ask

the Lord to drop it in your spirit and keep your
eyes focused on Him!
Chapter 7
TRADITION IS NOT
NECESSARILY
ANOINTED

Many of us like to be in environments that are

familiar, but are suspicious of the unfamiliar.

For example, "I don't like that church. They

don't worship like we do; that can't be God."
People, by nature, do not like the unknown. "Why
doesn't that church have pews? I'm not used to
those movable chairs." Or, other statements such as,
"Why can't that church be on the ground level. Do
we have to walk upstairs just to go to church? Why
couldn't the roof be pointed like a steeple? Why
Tradition Is Not Necessarily Anointed

isn't there a big cross in the front?" This is too

unfamiliar, it must be a cult." Because people don't
like their own little ideas to be changed or
challenged, they deny themselves the ecstasy of
moving from glory to glory. If you are seeking
God's Presence in your life, you will be faced with
unfamiliar territory because the Bible tells us that
the things of the Spirit of God are foreign to the
flesh. However, please note, they are always in line
with the Word of God!
Why does life in Christ Jesus lead us to situations
we have never been in before, and territory we
don't understand? So that you can trust Him and
look to Him only! In the book of Judges, in chapter
7, we see where God told Gideon to reduce his
army of 22,000 down to 300 to defeat 120,000
enemies. God did this so the Israelites would know
that if God told them to fight and conquer, it would
come to pass, even if in the natural it seemed
impossible. We also see in this story that only the
very obedient men had the privilege to witness
God's miraculous power operating through them-
selves. They were "screened by God" according to
their obedience to God's chosen leader, Gideon.
God had Gideon seek the men with a servant's
heart, by asking them, first of all to refrain from
fighting God's battle if they were fearful and afraid.
Out of 20,000 men, 12,000 left due to their fear.
Second of all, God had Gideon ask the remaining
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

10,000 men to lap up water as a dog. Only 300

followed directions. The rest compromised. They
probably followed the guy who said, "Look, this
man can't be serious. I'll scoop up some water just
to please him, but lapping it up like a dog is just
going too far!" Sometimes you will have to be
unpopular, but God will always confirm His Word
in time.
In the book of Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 5, we are
told to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean
not to thine own understanding and only then will
He direct our path.
Many people want to be s-o-o-o-o-0-0-0-0 spiri-
tual but won't pay the price of worldly sacrifice and
approval to follow God's direction for their lives,
and then they moan and groan in their public
prayer life about how much they want to serve God.
We live in a society that is embracing New Age
religions, which believe in the human mind as the
highest power on earth; therefore, it is their center
of worship. They don't have God's wisdom because
they have either rejected God's Word and followed
their own understanding, or there has never been a
laborer sent in their path to tell them about Jesus
being the only way to the Lord. On the other hand
sometimes Christians will act just like the heathen
when they claim to follow God, but they won't sub-
mit themselves to any anointed leaders in the body
of Christ.
Tradition Is Not Necessarily Anointed

There are those who don't realize that some

things that we call the anointing is not the anoint-
ing at all. It is just something that they are familiar
with, which they do out of habit, never really know-
ing what the move of the Holy Spirit is.
Let me tell you something about the anointing.
Do you know that you can sin and still be under the
anointing? I know some of you are thinking, "Now
wait a minute. You have got to show me that in
scripture; I have a problem with that." Okay, I will
show you.
In the book of Judges, one of God's anointed,
Samson, was laying with a harlot and then he tore
up the gates of the city. He was sinning under the
anointing! He eventually fulfilled God's purpose,
but led a miserable life because he disobeyed God's
mandate to remain sanctified (separated) from the
non-believers. If you know that God has appointed
you for a particular work and you have been in a
backslidden state, living in sin; or just too fearful to
step out, know that the gifts of God are without
repentance. That means that God doesn't get mad
and take our talents away from us for abusing them;
though the devil will try to kill you, steal your
vision, or destroy your name through your sin.
Know that if you served Jesus, and He is your Lord,
it is not too late for He will never leave you. Just
get in fellowship with the Father, repent from your
sin and go forth in victory, forgetting those things
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

you left behind and get back to holy, glorious

Kingdom work!
The Lord spoke to me about the situation
concerning one of the generals in the Body of Christ
that has undergone enormous slander, persecution
and imprisonment. God is going to bring a judg-
ment into the nation because the government has
failed to show mercy. Many of you are sitting in a
smug state of false security saying, "That could
never happen to me." I believe the political system
of America is actually designed to close the doors of
the churches. I believe it is especially discernable
within the Black community, where racial tensions
are brewing. In the midst of this, do you realize that
the church is the strongest force? They will come
seeking to silence the Black churches after they've
succeeded in silencing the televangelists! To those
who have slept around with secretaries and strange
women, stolen money and evaded taxes: Do you
not know that the enemy is coming to shut down
your places of worship? I am speaking to you as a
prophet of God. The whole church of Jesus Christ
must band together under the government of God
so that if they close one church, ten more will spring
u p somewhere else.
The system is wicked. The IRS is the only force
that does not have any governmental authority to
answer to. Who checks them? They ask for more
than what God asks for! They want more than the
Tradition Is Not Necessarily Anointed

tenth. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness

thereof, and God Almighty only requires a tenth as
our tax to live upon the earth!
Chapter 8
ARE YOU-MTALKING
TOWARDS
RUNNIN
FROM HIM?
In the Gospel, we know that Peter walked on the
water toward Jesus. He was moving towards his
purpose, in the direction that the Father had for
him. I submit to you, are you walking toward Jesus
or away from Him? Peter was doing just great,
walking gracefully on the water. Then he
focused on boisterous wind and started sinking,
while crying, "Lord, save me!" Now we are going
to see some enemies to our faith. The first one is
focusing on the problem, turning little molehills into
mountains in our over-anxious minds. When Peter
saw the wind, he focused on it when Jesus was
standing right there! But let's not criticize Peter;
Are You Walking Towards Jesus or Running Away?

let's look at ourselves. How many times do we let

lack of money, good looks, energy, friends, educa-
tion, or sleep keep us from doing what God told us
to do? Sometimes all satan does is dangle a little
delay to our prayers, and we let him chase us out
of our blessings, instead of allowing our praise to
ascend as a sweet smelling incense before the
Father. I know that sometimes you can feel as
though you're so far down, and that you have to
look up to see the bottom! But that's okay! Just
keep looking up because the power of the Holy
Ghost is going to blast you out of that dark depress-
ing pit! Don't you know you have the same power
in you that raised Christ Jesus from the dead?
(Ephesians 1:20) That is why the devil is a liar,
because while he is telling you that you are weak,
he is the one that is under your feet! When Satan
reminds you of your past (or lack of one) just
remind him of his future and praise the Lord!

The word "impossible" is only found in the

dictionary of a fool. With God, ALL things
are possible.

Another enemy of our faith is self-pity. We are

to encourage ourselves with psalms, hymns and
spiritual songs, making melodies to the Lord,
remaining drunk and intoxicated with the Holy
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

Spirit. It is hard to be depressed when you concen-

trate on praise and worship, for the Presence of the
Lord is inhabiting your praise.
We have to encourage ourselves because often,
there is no one around to encourage us or the devil
is whipping on our neighbor's head too, and they
are too weary to cheer us up. Anybody at
anytime can find something to complain about as
long as they are on the planet earth. That is why
Jesus told us to be the light of the world and
encourage each other in the body. They don't
support their fellow man in the world, but what an
attraction to receive Jesus if they see a prosperous,
joyful society offering an unconditional invitation to
their source of joy and riches -- receiving Jesus as
their personal Lord and Savior. We must act like
the mighty anointed children of God that we are.
That is what is going to change the community
more than any mayor or tax laws.
When someone has a chip on their shoulder,
instead of knocking it off, why don't you just pat
them on the back and encourage them? It might
just fall off. We have got to learn how to encour-
age one another. I am ashamed to say it, but we
have been called crabs. When you see someone else
getting to the top, don't say, "Who do you think you
are?" We need to get rid of that "crabby" mental-
ity! Have you ever watched crabs try to crawl out
of the barrel, and just when they think they've
Are You Walking Towards Jesus or Running Away?

finally made it, another crab sneaks from behind

and pulls him down? This is the sin of
backbiting.
When some people enter a room that is full of
lights, their jealousy will cause them to think, "Let's
just blow out all the lights so we will be the only
ones that shine", instead of lighting more. We must
encourage one another and be trustworthy enough
so that our brothers and sisters will be comfortable
enough to come up to us for encouragement.
Some Christians have trouble executing their
vision. When they attempt to do things, they obtain
shoddy results while they boast, "I have the leading
of the Lord." Then, if you ask them, "Do you have
a plan?", they tend to reply, "No, we are just trust-
ing God." God wants us to move by His Divine
Order.

I When you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Another obstacle as you walk towards Jesus is an

improper thought life. That is why it would do a

I If you have improper thoughts, they will be

an enemy to your faith.
I
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

lot of you some good to take your telephone out of

your house. Your faith would be strengthened
because you frequently talk to the wrong folks.
Improper thought life. Get this into your spirit -- Be
careful of your thoughts, for they will break forth
into words and actions some day! Beware of worry
when you are walking on the water.

Worry is an indication of wrong meditation, or

rather, worry is meditation or worship to the
wrong god.

Most of all, get rid of bitterness. Now grant you,

we're all aware that the system has committed more
than a few injustices; but don't sit around talking
about the system. Ride the system, don't let it get
in you! Ride the current on the waves!
Some people have a welfare mentality. Now
some of you will say, "I know he can't be talking
about me, because 1 have never been on welfare in
my life." No, but you look for assistance in other
things. You are looking for someone to always
carry you. Some people come to church believing
that the church is supposed to pay their rent. Don't
lend them money; find work for them! We have to
stop giving handouts in order to stimulate personal
responsibility.
Chapter 9
DREAMS ARE FAITH
IN ACTION
I desire to see you achieve every facet of the
dream you possess. Don't give up! Let your faith
begin to operate! Romans 4:16 "Therefore it is of faith
that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might
be sure to all the seed ..." This seed is to a11 the
believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now what is this scripture telling us? First of all,
to have faith which is the evidence of things not
seen. We live in a faithless world. The unsaved
have to latch on to satanic intellectual theories to
explain the existence of man. They have an expres-
sion, "If I can't see it, I don't believe it..." They can
understand and accept a monkey evolving into a
man because their faith is in cells over the Word of
God. Even though we know the truth, everything
Dreams Are Faith In Action

in our society goes against faith. The things of God

are foolishness to those who are spiritually dead.
That's why God tells us to come out from among
them. Guard your dream, for it is placed in your
heart by the Lord. He gave you that desire. Plan to
build His Kingdom and bless the believers!
Listen, this might shake you up, but Jesus didn't
die and conquer death for everyone. Even though
the scripture says, "For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten son ...," it goes on to say, "That
whosoever would believe ...Ir He was a ransom for
many, but not a ransom for all.
The second thing this scripture tells us is that it's
by grace that we receive God's promises. The law

I "GraceN means "unmerited favor, unearned,

freely given, etc".
I
did not bring faith to the Israelites, for it was by
their acts and sacrifices that they
received right standing with God. If anything, it
made folks upset, because it showed that they (and
we!) could never measure up. But you see, we are
righteous-- not because of our deeds, but we are
righteous because God says that we are righteous.
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

When we begin to understand that we were

elected by God, we are going to find out that
we did not choose Him, but He chose us.
Chapter 10
YOU DID NOT
CHOOSE
CHOS
You cannot come to Jesus unless He touches your
mind. He spoke in parables lest others would be
able to see. You cannot even behold the mystery of
the Gospel unless Jesus touches you. God will go
through all your family, all of your loved ones, and
turn around and say, "I choose you to follow Me."
You are elected by Almighty God. Some of you
are sitting and reading this book, and you don't
have a clue as to why you chose this particular
book. Well, it is because God elected you to read
about Jesus! You are righteous because Jesus says
you are righteous. You could have killed more
people than anyone else, you could have destroyed
You Did Mot Choose Jesus, He Chose You!

more lives than anyone else, but the moment you

came to know Jesus, He declared you righteous!
You are not righteous by your deeds, but because
Jesus said you are righteous. Some of you are
fasting and praying and you think that fasting is
twisting the arm of God to get Him to give in so
that you can be on His good side, Well, you are
already on His good side the moment you receive
Jesus as your Lord and Savior!
Faith is always followed by corresponding action.
"Faith without works is dead." (James 2:20) That is
why the devil will try to discourage you from
dreaming, so that you won't use your faith to
succeed. He will attempt to convince you to believe
his lie that you are a nobody, and that the idea you
have is impossible. This is the devil's job: To kill,
steal and destroy!
There's an old story called, "The Devil's Best
Tool." The devil, according to legend, once adver-
tised his tools for sale at a public auction. When
the perspective buyers assembled, there was one
oddly shaped tool which was labeled "not for sale".
Asked to explain why, the devil answered, "I can
spare my other tools, but I cannot spare this one. It
is the most useful implement that I have. It is called
discouragement and with it I can work my way into
hearts otherwise inaccessible. When I get this into
a man's heart, the way is opened to plant anything
there I may desire".
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

We must dethrone the spirit of discouragement.

There are a lot of believers who are discouraged.
God wants you to know that the battle is the Lord's,
but the victory is yours!

Remember, the devil is a liar! If he is telling

you a dream God planted in your heart for His
kingdom will never ever come to pass, shout
for joy because the exact opposite is true!

When the devil tries to discourage you, drown

him out with a tape of your favorite praise songs,
prayer, teaching, the Word, or if you can, find an
enthusiastic believer to encourage you and drown
out the devil's discouragement. Cast him and his
demons down to a dry and deserted place in the
name of Jesus, where they can discourage them-
selves until the day they are thrown into the lake of
fire! (Who says warfare can't be fun?)
Chapter 11
MEETING THE
CHALLENGE OF THE
DREAM

It is not faith that differs, it is the dream

that differs.

Everyone has been given the same measure of

faith. It is not the faith that differs, it is the dream
that differs. God has dealt unto every man the mea-
sure of faith. Everyone has been given the same
degree of faith; what determines the degree of faith
working on your behalf is the ability you have to
dream.
Meeting The Challenge Of The Dream

Some of you might say, "Well, Prophet Jordan has

a whole lot of faith." No, Prophet Jordan has a
whole lot of big dreams! Faith is the substance of
things hoped for. If there aren't any "things" hoped
for, faith will not be in operation.
Many great men make the mistake of ceasing to
dream after the initial goal has been completed.
Even when you are working on step 1, you should
always be able to envision steps 2, 3 and 4 that are
to come after step 1 is completed.

Now, faith means "a firm persuasion or a

conviction based upon hearing", and faith
cometh by hearing, and hearing by the
Word of God.

Whatever we hear places an image in our minds

-- that is why faith is the evidence of things we
don't even see. Things that you are able to see in
the natural, you don't need faith for, but you need
faith to bring that which is in the invisible into the
visible realm. Even with the invisible dream, there
will be other dreams that will paint another picture
to show you why the invisible dream can't come
into focus. There are enemies to the dream. Jesus
said your right hand should not let your left hand
know what it is doing. There are some people you
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

can't share your dream with. You cannot share

your expansive dreams with small minded people.
Chapter 12
GOD LOVES TO DO
THE IMPOSSIBLE!
Why does God love to give you impossible
dreams? Simple! When they manifest, they are a
mighty testimony to those around you that it could
only be Jesus Christ, the only living God, Who
could have brought you to the place you are now.
There are some examples of this all through the
Bible, but we are going to focus on the Book of
Kings in the Old Testament, to see how we can be
victorious with our plans through impossible
situations with powerful enemies.
We are only looking at examples of obedience in
this scripture, those kings who worshipped the Lord
and sought His Presence, such as David, Solomon,
etc. These men worshipped God through persecu-
tion and sought His advice through prophets as to
God Loves To Do The Impossible!

whether they should conquer other territories or not.

When God said, "yes, go forth and conquer", they
obeyed, even though many of their enemies were
sadistic giants and enormously outnumbered their
armies. The Lord worked miracles through Israel,
His chosen people, and they conquered.
Now, let's look at some principles here. First of
all, the king had an idea (thought or dream) to
conquer an unconquerable enemy. Who do you
think put that dream in the king's mind? The Lord!
Remember, we are not talking about the many kings
who worshipped idols, but the ones who
worshipped God. Anyone who has received Jesus
as Lord is constantly receiving ideas and plans from
God to prosper. For our God is "Jehovah--The
Revealing One. God loves to communicate with us,
and He rejoices when He can perform miracles
through us to show the world He alone is the Crea-
tor of miracles; not mankind. New Age religions,
white magic, black magic or any other perverted
form of worship is fabricated by satan, the father of
lies. If your dream is in line with the Word of God
to build His kingdom, it was planted in your brain
by God in the first place, so it can happen.
After the kings had dreams to conquer lands that
belonged to the most powerful dynasties of that
day, he always took a particular action -- he sought
for a true prophet of God to receive a word from
the Throne Room to confirm the king's dream. They
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

sought guidance on how to conquer the enemy.

Sometimes they received details and sometimes God
just told them to go forth, that the enemy would fall
into their hands. It was then the responsibility of
the king to trust the Lord and obey whatever
instructions were given by God, through the
prophet. (Some of the prophets of that day were Samuel,
Elijah and Elisha)
God gave prophets as a gift to the body of Christ,
to confirm Kingdom plans to individual saints' lives.
(Ephesians 4:11) Many Christians are still steeped
in traditional lies that say, "We never know what
God will do, for He is a Sovereign and Holy God
and He would not take the time to talk to mortal
man." How ignorant! If you are a Christian, then
your text for life should be the Bible, which is one
story after another about prophets, and about how
those who obeyed their prophetic word from the
Lord were blessed, and about how those who didn't
were cursed. This is not a farfetched idea. As a
matter of fact, the Lord's will is to use His prophets
to a much greater degree in today's church. One
reason why the world is embracing New Age reli-
gions is because they offer "fortune telling" and
"communication with the spirit world" to a multi-
tude who are searching for guidance in a world of
confusion. Even though they don't realize it is
demons who are communicating back to them, the
innate hunger of man will drive him to search the
God Loves To D o The Impossible!

heavenlies for an answer in the time of his quan-

dary. Satan is just perverting and imitating the real
relationship God has with man, for the Lord loves
to fellowship with us.

Let's observe the Scriptures again. The king has

received a word from the Lord, and no matter how
impossible and ridiculous it seems that a small,
wimpy army of one hundred is going to slaughter
thousands of mean, sadistic giants, the king must
make a decision to take the action and trust God,
knowing that if Almighty God decreed it, it is
going to pass. Notice, instead of the king sitting in
his castle, getting fat and saying, "Yeah, that was a
good word we sure had church today", he got up
and went to war with his troops, putting into action
what God said. The small minded people stayed
home and giggled at the troops marching by their
windows who were singing praises to God for a
promised victory. The small minded people never
experienced the glory of God.

People probably thought that the Wright Brothers

were crazy and asked, "How in the world are you
going to fly and defy the law of gravity, fool?"
God, no doubt, put the idea in their head that there
must be a law of lift. Because of the grace of God
upon them to think it, they went into action and
made that invisible thought into reality -- and they
were not educated! They didn't possess college
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

degrees. Some of you see obstacles and say, "Well,

I don't have the formal education." Education is
good, but don't let that be a limitation. You still
have the ability to dream. Some people look for
their deliverance and say, "If I can go to school, I
know I can make it work." Not necessarily; you
will learn all of what school has to offer but will
arrive at one conclusion -- "I need a dream".
Don't even look at your physical condition. We
have so many excuses. "I am too old." "I am too
fat". "I am the wrong color". "I am too weak and
sickly." "I am not pretty". "I am too old to dance,
my muscles will break". "I don't look the part".
"My clothes are too raggedy and what will they
think when they find out where I live?" "I don't
have a car". "I own a car, but it is junky". "I am
too low class, I was born like that." "I'm, I'm,
I'm..!" Is God limited by all this? No! He is the
God who created the trees that money is made out
of and the dust that you and your enemies are made
out of. He knows what makes everything tick and
every thought that you are thinking. He will get
past your doubts; just cast them on Him and go for
it anyway! (I Peter 5:7)
God began to challenge a man named Abraham.
If we are going to walk in faith with God, we are
going to need to hear the Word of God.
Now, in Romans 4:17 it says, "As it is written, I
God Loves To Do The Pmpossible!

have made thee a father of many nations ..." God was

speaking at that appointed time to Abraham, who
was a childless man; his wife was barren and they
were past their natural childbearing age. Some of
you don't want to talk about having children at 50
and Abraham was near 100. Why is that? It is
because Abraham was a man of faith and he was
empowered by God.
He had a dream. God put a dream in that man's
spirit. When you get a God-given dream, a word
from God, you cannot find rest until that dream is
fulfilled. Verse 17: "...I have made thee a father of
many nations, before him whom he believed, even
God ..." I kept meditating on that, "before him
whom he believed.." and as I was meditating and
tracing that in the Greek, I found it meant "in the
Presence of God in whom he believes". In other
words, Abraham stayed in the Presence of God and
while he was there, God told him he would be a
father of many nations. When you get in God's
Presence there are some things that God will tell
you. He will tell you some things that He wants
you to do and your finite mind will say, "Lord that
can't be done!"
Zachariah got in the Father's Presence and all of
a sudden God said, "Elizabeth is going to have a
baby". Zachariah said, "Wait a minute, that dream
is too big! Do You know how old my wife is? Do
You know how old we are? And You want his
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

name to be John? If we bend down and try to pick

John up, we don't know if we will get back up!"
God had to shut Zachariah's mouth because he

Some of you have aborted your dream by the

words of your mouth.

would have aborted the pregnancy. Some people

have aborted the dream because they have shared it
with small-minded people -- they let the right hand
know what the left hand is doing. If you hang
around people who are not doing anything, eventu-
ally you won't be doing anything either.
So, God spoke to Zachariah to give him a vision,

You are genetically designed and programmed

for success.

to give him a dream. God is in the business of

putting dreams in your spirit. There are enemies
that will try to convince you that the dream should
not be fulfilled. When I am in the Presence of the
Father, and there is something that God has spoken
to me, it would cause some people to run away
God Loves To Do The Impossible!

because the narrowness of their vision would make

them fear the unfamiliar. It does not take long for
the opposition to your dream to manifest!
God loves to give you impossible dreams, but He
also desires for you to understand that the word
"impossible" is only found in the dictionary of

"Him-possible" is the watchword of the believer!

fools. If you can dream it, it can happen. Find your

original dream; something that has never been done.
We worship the God (Jesus) who has the ability to
bring dead things to life. You might be looking at
a situation that looks dead right now and you might
say, there is no life that can come of this, but God
quickens the dead. Jesus conquered death for all
mankind and is praying to the Father right now so
that as you read this, you will go forth with His
plans for your life!
Chapter 13
NURTURE THE
DREAM WITH FAITH
Faith will make circumstances work in your favor
so that the dream comes to pass. It might come
through a stranger. All of a sudden God will fix it
so that your paths cross. Your dream is in God's
hands. He has it under control.
Remember, godly dreams are based on hearing
the Word of the Lord -- and the same is true for
godly faith. Godly dreams are impossible for the
unbeliever to attain because God is a Spirit and we
are talking about supernatural, Holy Spirit power to
bring the dream into reality.
Faith will always come to strengthen that dream
to bring it out of the realm of the invisible into the
realm of the visible.
Nurture The Dream With Faith

In Romans 4:18, Paul refers to Abraham and

writes, "Who against hope believed in hope, that he
might become the father of many nations ..." This is
because Abraham had faith to prevail against all the
odds.
Are there some things that your parents
programmed in you? That you would fail -- you
got married too young and you are tied down now
because you didn't go to school like they told you
to? What hope is against you? The economy? The
work force? Your appearance? Your educational
background? Your life of sin before you became a
Christian? Whatever it might be that seems against
all hope, continue to believe in hope!
The devil is the author of confusion. Confusion
includes insecurity, poverty, oppression, prejudice,
etc. The Bible says when we begin to see him
(satan) who has weakened the nation, we are going
to say, "Jesus, if I had a revelation about this
earlier, I would have been a more victorious Chris-
tian." God would reply, "I have given you My
Word, you just didn't believe it. You kept dream-
ing of a big devil and that is what you got." Some-
one wrote a book saying that "satan is alive and
well". I don't know about how "well" he is and I
don't believe he's "alive". He is a dead spirit,
eternally separated from God.
This is the principle that made Abraham a man of
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

faith; "he calleth those fhings which be nof as fhough

they were." (Romans 4:17). There are some things
in your life which "be not". Your "be not" could be
that you are poor. God says to not even say that
you are poor. Say that you are rich. Do not say
that you are sick, but say that you are well. Why?
Because He wants us to walk in the victorious, God-
kind of faith. He watches to see if you are going to
use your situation as a stepping-stone, a challenge to
get to the top of the mountain instead of saying,
"woe is me." You need a dream from God. If you
don't have a dream, you will not see faith operating
in your life.
Abraham was a childless old man. He was
probably going to settle down with Sarai and say,
"We are never going to have children. This will be
the end of my lineage". Then God spoke and inter-
vened in his despair. God told them that Sarai
would give birth to a child even though she was in
her nineties. How did they react? They laughed!
Well, there will be those that will laugh at your
dream. When they laugh at you, that should moti-
vate you to dream more because you are going to
turn their laughter around. When Sarai laughed,
she literally prophesied the name of her son--Isaac
(which means laughter).
What are you hoping for? Are you expecting
failure, poverty, defeat? What type of goals have
you set in your life? Do you have any goals at all?
Nurture The Dream With Faith

Hope is a confident expectation that a desire

will be fulfilled.

God wants us to come to a place where we have

hope.
You don't find many young ladies making the
proper preparation for marriage today. They used
to have a "hope chest" which was usually the bot-
tom drawer. It had a collection of household linens,
etc. in preparation for eventual marriage. Perhaps
some of you need to act upon your dream! Make
preparation and God will send him on the way!
Do you have a dream today? Do you have hope?
Is your faith visible? Is God leading you in an
unfamiliar direction? Are you saying, "Lord that is
too big!"? Are you staggering at the promises of
God? Are you becoming weak in faith by consider-
ing your circumstances?
Chapter 14
THE DREAM AND
THE CROSS
"From that time forth began Jesus to shew
unto his disciples how that he must go unto
Jerusalem, and suffer may things of the elders
and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and
be raised again the third day.
Then Peter took him and began to rebuke him,
saying, be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not
be unto thee.
But he turned, and said unto Peter, get thee
behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me;
for thou savourest not the things that be of God,
but those thaf be of men.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, if any man
will come after me, let him deny himself, and
take up his cross and follow me.
The Dream And The Cross

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it;

and whosoever will lose his life for m y sake shall
find it.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain
the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what
shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
For the son of man shall come irz the glory of
his Father with his angels; and then he shall
reward every mnlz according to his works.
Verily I say unto you, there be some standing
here, which shall not taste of death, till they see
the son of nzarz coming in his kingdom."
Matthew 16:21-28
It is important to discern what Jesus meant when
He said "take u p your cross and follow Me". We
are going to discover what the cross is, and you
will be able to determine whether you actually
picked u p your cross or not.
What is the cross? Some people think it is disease
and suffering. They say, "That is your cross to bear
in life. You know, God understands. When He gets
through making you humble enough, He will lift it."
But I believe the cross is the dream.

When God says deny yourself and take up the

cross, He wants you to take up the dream.
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

When He says, "Pick up the cross", it is an indi-

cation that you have the power to pick it up or lay
it down at will. Sickness can't be picked up and
laid down at will. Anyone in their right mind will
attempt to avoid pain.
God has placed an automatic response within the
human body that will always seek to reject pain.
So, the cross is something that you can pick up and
put it to the side, if necessary, at will. God has
shown many of you a dream, and He has shown
you the purpose---but you have refused to take it up
and follow Him. He does not want you looking
and staring at the cross, He wants you to take it up.
Martin Luther King Jr. had the opportunity to sit
in a wishful state and probably would have been
alive today if he never embraced his purpose and
just sat and looked at his cross. But there was some-
thing in him that began to turn and he had to look
at it. He had to make a decision to take it up. He
had to deny himself. He had to deny his family
and his comfortable existence--this is the reality of
taking up your cross and following Him---this is
what it is all about!
Many people can come to God with many
excuses: "Lord, look at my family. I will do your
will after my children get grown". Or, "I will
fulfill my call in life when I get through with the
education that I am pursuing". God is saying, "I
The Dream And The Cross

want you to take up the cross now!" Your dream is

the cross that you must bear. Take up your cross--
your dream--and follow Him!
Chapter 15
DENY YOURSELF
Jesus said, "...If any man will come after me, let him
deny himself..."

The words "deny himself" are an imperative,

which means it is a command for
continuous or repeated action.

In other words, you are to deny yourself not just

one time but continually. You have to deny your
lustful and selfish desires. There is nothing innately
wrong with desire, but desire becomes wrong when
it becomes selfish. You have got to deny yourself
and then take up the cross.
Deny Yourself

There must be a radical change in your heart in

order for you to accept the cross. There has to be a
radical change if you are going to accept the vision.
When God begins to call you into some things, you
have to make excruciating decisions. Your cross
could be anything. A cross for a mother could be
raising her children. Is that a cross? For some, it
might be. For a man, your cross might be becom-
ing the head of your home. For others, your cross
might be to get a job and punch that clock daily
and on time. What is God demanding of you which
must be accomplished? Are you picking it up and
doing it?

When you take up your cross, you will

Jesus was rejected. Jesus encountered persecution

as He carried the cross. You will be encompassed
by mockers that will reject and hate the dream.
When Jesus was crucified, the inscription that was
on top of the cross read, "Jesus of Nazareth, King
of the Jews." Even His mockers didn't believe a
word they were saying, but they were compelled to
echo His purpose.
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

Some individuals will never understand your

dream. Jesus would not respond to Herod when he
wanted to talk to him, and he allowed Herod to
formulate his own opinion. Some people will
challenge you and say, "Who do you think you
are?" You will have to give them the same answer
that Jesus gave. "It is not given unto you to know
the season or the time. You wouldn't Gnderstand it
anyway; this thing is spiritually discerned."
I don't believe Jesus feared the nails that were
going to be pummeled into His hands. Though the
threat of physical torment was repulsive, his heart
agonized over the greater threat of experiencing
rejection and separation from the Father. Your
dream wants to put you in direct contact with God.
You have got to be separated unto Him. While Jesus
was carrying the cross, He kept His eyes fixed on
the joyful fulfillment of the dream. You can endure
the cross if you focus on the joy.
Jesus was a man that had a dream. He was one
hundred percent man and one hundred percent
God. (He wants to deal with every detail of your
being). Jesus had a dream of the Kingdom of God
and if we don't understand the dream of Jesus, we
will not put His dream into action.
You have to get to the place where you can
dream. Then, we have to bring redemption to that
dream so it can be a kingdom dream that will
Deny Yourself

fulfill redemptive purposes. A Kingdom dream will

make Christ concrete. In other words, Jesus (the
Word) will be made flesh in our midst.
A kingdom dream triggers growth and change; it
brings change to people and to institutions. The
Civil Rights Movement was a move of God. When
Martin Luther King said he had a dream, he had a
dream that was birthed from the Kingdom of God
that came to fulfill the redemptive purposes of
Almighty God.
God dealt with the scope and focus of the dream
He has given me, and said "Don't focus only on the
church; it is too narrow. Your focus has to be
broader -- you have got to see My Kingdom. Seeing
the work done within the walls of the church is not
enough. You must perceive My Kingdom".
The devil hates for you to talk about the King-
dom, because then you are talking about invading
his domain. Satan is saying, "Sure! Prophesy in the
church, work miracles in the church--that is where I
want you. I will even come to church and watch
you prophesy, but leave my nations alone." He
wants you to keep the power of God in the church,
rather than demonstrate Jesus Christ before the
world. That is why we have to begin to understand
that there is more to focus on than just casting a
demon out of an individual -- that vision is too
narrow. Let's go out and destroy principalities that
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

are ruling over communities and nations. Let's take

the net and pull the whole load in!
Chapter 16
MIND REMOVAL OR
MIND RENEWAL?
Where does the vision come from? We know it
comes from God. It is God Who illuminates your
mind.

The Word of God tells us that without a

vision the people perish. Without a redemptive
revelation--without a word from God, you
will perish.

God wants to renew your mind, not remove your

mind. There are a lot of individuals that have erro-
neously read the scripture and thought it said, "be
not conformed to this world but be ye transformed
by the 'removing' of your mind." It is not the
Mind Removal Or Mind Renewal?

'removing' of the mind, but the 'renewing' of the

mind.
God wants to take your mind and reconstruct it.
He wants to change some of your thinking and
mind-sets. We all develop various mind-sets as
children. There are certain things you have been
taught that have been embedded in you, but when
you meet the Word of God there are some things
that you must change. You will struggle over some,
but you must be ready to accept the truth which
you encounter in the Word of God.
Some of our parents gave us advice to the best of
their knowledge. They told us, "We want you to go
to school and get a good education so you can get a
good job." Doesn't that sound real nice? Some of
you have instilled this same thought in your chil-
dren. But as you encounter the teachings of Christ
and allow His Word to become a part of you, you
will heighten your sights and say, "We are sending
you to school to get a good education so that you
can create jobs for others."

Some of us are not advancing because of

our stagnant thinking.
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

An individual named Daniel Levinson did an

extensive study of American male development pat-
terns. He came to the conclusion that dreams in
young adults are more formed than pure fantasy,
yet less articulated than a fully thought-out plan.

We must learn how to take a dream and

make it a reality because a dream will remain
a dream until we begin to set goals and

I have learned not to say what I am not going to

do in this life. If someone tells you they think you
are going to be preaching, just say "Praise the
Lord." You might not understand it but God will
reveal it. Don't make the mistake of declaring "I am
not going to preach" because you are the very one
that God will get hold of and put His Word right
in your mouth!
True "waiting on the Lord" is defined as serving
Him. Everyone that Jesus called into ministry were
busy doing something. Everyone that was called to
serve Jesus in my Bible was working when they
were called!! God wants us to begin to apprehend
our purpose. Therefore, you must be energetic and
active; not passive and lethargic. You have got to
have a zeal for following after the things of God.
Mind Removal Or Mind Renewal?

Never sit home unemployed and "wait on

your ministryf'. Some people call themselves
"waiting on God" by sitting home in destitu-
tion--without gainful employment. That is
not waiting on God. "Oh, the Lord told me
to quit my job. I'm just waiting on the Lord"
-- GO GET A JOB!!! Go submit to your boss
and minister to your family!! God is not
going to cause you to embrace poverty as a
way of life!! He desires for you to prosper as
your soul prospers!!

God doesn't want to only move in the area of

your conscious mind but He wants to be Lord of
your subconscious. Your mind has the ability to
reason but your subconscious doesn't. Your subcon-
scious mind cannot take a joke. Anything that is
uttered is interpreted by your subconscious mind as
a command and as a law. The subconscious doesn't
have a reasoning factor, and processes sarcasm as
truth.
If you want to retrain your subconscious, you
must choose the last thoughts which will be
programmed in your mind before you go to sleep.
Your mind will carry those thoughts throughout the
night and that is what you will begin to think about
during the next day.
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

Can you see why God says the evening and the
morning make the first day, and not the morning
and the evening? Your new day begins at nightfall
when you are ready to retire.
What are you programming in your head? Are
you sitting there looking at the 11:OO news and
falling asleep? What are your last thoughts of the
day? Your last thoughts of the day are going to be
the beginning thoughts of your new day. Are you
just jumping into bed going to sleep or are you on
your knees praying, saying, "Lord give me a mind.
Give me a vision." Are you reflecting on the things
that you did that day and saying, "Lord, I want
Your kingdom to come -- Your will to be done.
Come and be Lord of my dreams so I don't have
nightmares at night." What is being programmed
in your thinking?

The word of God must penetrate beyond your

conscious mind--it must seep into your
subconscious mind as well.

A lot of people need deliverance; they need mind

renewal. All of us have learned behavioral patterns.
We can call our errant beliefs a
demon, and say, "Come out in Jesus' Name", but
nothing is going to come out until we start renew-
ing that subconscious mind.
Mind Removal Or Mind Renewal?

As you sit under the Word of God, it restructures

your thinking. When truth is assimilated, you'll
come to yourself and realize that you don't have to
be poor anymore. It is God's will for you to walk
in wealth. Some of you need to understand that
money is your friend. Jesus said that the children
of darkness are wiser than the children of light. The
world is now at the point of faxing messages and
the church is just beginning to utilize typewriters!
We are just beginning to accept television, and the
world is focusing on satellites! Some of us have
become so heavenly minded until we are no earthly
good! Christians are always talking about heaven
but nobody's dying, trying to get there! Let me tell
you, I don't want to go to heaven right now. I want
to be busy, occupied until He comes. Some of us
have lost touch with reality. We've become flakes--
granola Christians----fruity, nutty and flaky!
It amazes me that people need to be told, "Get a
job." There's so much of the pseudo-spiritual litany
that we hear, "Pastor, pray for me. I am not
making it, my finances..." "Are you working?"
"No." "Well, that is why you are not making it. Go
and get a job."
Go on some interviews. Fake it until you make
it. Go borrow some money and get a decent suit
because you have got to package yourself right.
Don't go on your interview looking desperate, as if
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

to say "I have got to have this job". Believers have

lost touch with reality in their quest for spirituality.
We need our minds renewed!!
Chapter 17
THE DISCIPLE
There are a lot of things that Jesus will not share
with you until you become a disciplined follower of
the Lord. It is sad to say, but in the house of the
Lord, we have a lot of people who want to be part
of the multitude. They will follow for fishes and
loaves -- the free hot meal, the free clothes, free
shelter, etc. If you talk to them about responsibility
concerning the Kingdom of God, they will yell in
protest that you are in sin for telling them to give
10 percent of all their increase. Some will accept the
word concerning the tithe, but after you tell them
that once the tithe has been fulfilled, they still
haven't given anything because the ten percent
belongs to God, and that anything above that is an
offering, they'll become indignant saying, "Are you
going to steal my money or something? You want
more than the ten percent?" They love to follow the
multitude, but don't want any responsibility.
The Disciple

The regular church-goers will indicate they will

be at church on Sunday morning, but you'll hear "I
am telling you now, don't ask me to do anything in
the church. I got burned in the last church I
attended, and I said I wouldn't get involved in
anymore churches. I will come, I will give my
tithes and offerings, and I will love you in Jesus'
Name, but I really don't want any responsibility. I
don't want to do anything. The folks in the church
are hypocrites, you know, none of them are really
right." The sacrilegious Christians fail to realize that
there will never be a perfect church until Jesus
returns. You will never find the "perfect church.
If you do manage to find it, it ceased being perfect
the moment you arrived!

Even in Jesus' handpicked church (His twelve

disciples), forty percent were corrupt. Judas
stole the money and Peter was racially
prejudiced. Thomas doubted everything Jesus
said until he could see it with his own eyes,
and "The Sons of Thunderrr(James and John)
struggled with anger as well as a desire for
preeminence amongst the brethren. Yet these
were the men that God was raising
up to change the world.
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

Jesus spent a lot of time with His disciples. There

is a major difference between a disciple and a
believer. It is possible to be a born-again believer
and not a disciple. A disciple is a disciplined
follower. I find that in the house of the Lord, a lot
of individuals want to be believers, but they don't
want to be a disciple. When you become a disciple,
you find out that the days of Burger King are over.
You can't "Have it your way." There are a lot of
people who assume that Jesus is going to cause
them to "have it their way". "Lord, work in this
area of my life, but don't touch this! Lord, mold me
and make me after your will ..." But when He starts
to shape the circumstances of your life to answer
your prayers, you say, "No don't touch that! I enjoy
that, don't take that away."

Many individuals do not enter into the

fulfillment of the dream because of their
fear of the unknown.

People frequently have difficulty being loyal to

the leader of their church, because they do not
understand the vision God gave to the leader.
When Jesus began to share with His disciples
about how the elders, scribes and pharisees were
going to crucify Him, He explained that He would
The Disciple

be raised up and glorified on the third day. Peter

began to rebuke Jesus, saying "Be it far from Thee".
In other words, Peter said "Hush up -- you're
making a bad confession! Why would you sit there
and wish that on yourself? Stop making that nega-
tive confession. We don't want to see you suffer
and die". Jesus looked at Peter and said, "Get thee
behind me, satan."
Now, Peter just finished having the astounding
revelation that He was the Christ, the Son of the
Living God. Jesus said, "Thou art Peter,(Petros), thou
art a rock (little rock) and upon this rock I will build My
church ..." Yet a couple of minutes later, Peter became
a rock of stumbling. (The enemy loves to take your
positive traits and turn them into negative traits.)
Many times we will not understand the vision of
our leaders because the dream was spoken to one
man. God wants you to be teachable and assist the
Pastor because God ordained him as authority in
that house. Sometimes you must trust God's chosen
man and lean not to your own understanding.

The Kingdom of God is not a democracy.

There is only one Lord, one king of Kings. Jesus is

the "head" of the "body" of Christ. The head rules
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

the body; not the fingers, toes or elbows. Do you

know, if you let your body parts rule you, they
would wear you out in sin, leading you to give way
to the appetites of your flesh?
Democracy has never been God's way. Your
body has one government and one member of your
body has the authority to make decisions. All your
other members carry them out. Your body functions
by a dictatorship. If you start walking one way and
your leg starts to go another way or it won't move,
you will immediately go to the doctor to get your-
self checked out. You will rebuke the devil. IMME-
DIATELY!! Why is it that if a church member
wants to do their own thing apart from the vision
of the house, some members will find that
individual and side with him and also become a
contrary member? Even households work the same
way, but God likes to speak through the head.
Peter was filled with fear instead of faith. Here
is their master, their mentor, the one that was teach-
ing and training them, telling them that they were
getting ready to leave Him. Imagine your best
friend telling you "Now that I have taught all these
people, the cops will come any day to arrest me.
They are going to put me in the electric chair, prob-
ably in the next thirty days." You would say, "Are
you crazy? Listen, get a passport, leave town!"
That is the typical response that Peter experienced.
Jesus said that the devil was speaking through
Peter.
The Disciple

When you don't understand changes in your

house of worship, consider that it takes a
while for a truth to mature and make a full
impact with the things that God is about to
do. Yet, if you remain obedient and stick
around, you will experience the glory of God
as the revelation becomes real to you.

Often, people fall prey to the tendency to

compare themselves with other people, and yearn to
be like them. Yet you don't know what that person
went through to get where they are today. If you
want to be a good musician, you can't just sit there
and pick up your instrument once a week and play
it for ten minutes and expect to become an excellent
musician. You must give yourself to it regularly
and submit to the training of your teacher. Submit
to your spiritual leader, allow yourself to be trained
and mentored and you will catch the spirit of your
leader in due time.
Chapter 18
DO NOT FOLLOW
UDAS!!
You will be surprised who Judas is. In the house
of the Lord there is a select group that is set in that
local house to be the priesthood of Judas. If you
ask, "What priesthood are you connected with?"
They will say, "I'm of the faithful priesthood."
Then when you start to look at their actions later,
you will find that they are of the priesthood of
Judas.
I used to say, "I want to grab Judas. If I discern
it prophetically I am going to put them out." The
Lord let me know that there are some Judas' that
need to stick around. They help you fulfill your
purpose in God. Jesus would have never made it to
the cross and the dream would never have been
fulfilled if Judas did not enter into his priesthood.
Do Not Follow Judas!!

It is possible that some individuals can be elected

for evil. There are some people who will perpetu-
ally say, "Yes Pastor, we are with you," but even as
they are saying the words, their head is shaking and
demonstrating their defiance. They will smile--all of
the priests will be worshipping---everyone else will
be worshipping---and Judas will worshipping,
fulfilling his role. After church, they will find some-
one and say, "P-s-s-t! I had a vision about the
church. We need to get together for lunch. It feels
as though God is saying they are missing it! What
do you think? You pick up anything in the Spirit?
The worship isn't like it used to be. They don't pray
as much as they used to pray." "I really don't think
the music is going right. They keep those same
people up there singing all the time, they don't ever
let us sing. You know, I have been anointed in
places I have come from. I think they need to make
room for my ministry. I think my ministry really
needs to come forth."

Judas sows malignant seeds of discord to

wreck havoc on the harvest of the Lord.

If that devil isn't exposed, that evil will stay

dormant in their house. They will have a hard time
worshipping as a Levi. (Levi means to "be joined".)
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

All of sudden they'll discover that they cannot

enter in or become joined to the vision because
someone has sown division in them.

Judas always has the opportunity to repent, yet

Judas, because of his rebellious nature, will usually
refuse to submit to correction, and will choose the
ignominious path of suicide--rejecting the chance to
become a thriving member of the Body of Christ.
Chapter 19
EXHORTATION
Jesus will not override your thinking and give
you something that you never thought of. Jesus
was the Son of God, went down to Nazareth and
could not do mighty works there because of their
unbelief. Therefore, you have to see it first.

If you can't dream it, and if you can't

believe it, you will not receive it.

Some people are still looking at poverty. Some

people are still looking at lack, or the figures in
their bank account. You need to start getting out of
the slump you are in. You need to start having
dreams. God's going to permit you to stay in a
pinch until you learn how to fly. One day you will
Exhortation

get sufficiently disturbed about the situation you are

in, and you will wake up and say, "I have got to do
something better for myself!" Everyone's bottom is
at a different place. Don't go to the grave without
ever having a dream come true. There is music in
you that the world has never heard. There is a
dream in you that has never been worked out.
How many of you are fulfilling your dream, so that
other people can reap the benefits?
God will drop a thought in your mind, an image.
When you pray, you have to have something to take
to the Father. There has got to be an image. There
has to be a focus. Some people are still praying
their problems. "Lord, look on my sick mother ...
Lord, touch my pocketbook, I am doing very bad
these days ..." They still haven't brought an image
to the Father. When they went before the Throne of
God, they weren't ready to receive an image, so
they came back from the Throne of God saying, "I
prayed, but I am still broke." God is saying, "I
can't do anything until you believe for the miracu-
lous". You have got to see it before you can receive it.
God says nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Do you know that if you begin to move in the God-
kind of faith it will almost make you omnipotent?
God is saying something to you but your mind is
having a hard time receiving that. What are you
believing for, or are you still dealing with a
negative image?
THE MAKING OF THE DREAM

Charles F. Keltering, the noted scientist and

inventor, believed the easiest way to overcome
defeat was to completely ignore the possibility of
failure. He tells a story about how he once gave a
tough assignment to a young research worker at the
General Motors Laboratory, just to see how he
would react to a difficult problem. Mr. Keltering
forbade him to examine notes on the subject that
were filed in the library. These notes were written
by expert research men and contained statistics to
prove the young researcher's assignment was
impossible. The young research worker did not
know this, of course, so he went to work with
confidence that he would succeed. He didn't know
the problem was "impossible", so he did it. Do you
know that science reasons that the bumble bee is not
supposed to be able to fly? The body of the bee is
heavier than the wing, but no one ever told the bee
he couldn't fly. The bee is consumed with the
God-given image of flying, so, he flies.
What are some of the things that people told you
were impossible for you to achieve?

If we can get the boundaries of impossibility

out of you, we can get you to achieve
the magnificent.
Exhortation

Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the

mind can achieve -- God teaches us this. That is
why the Word says if you have faith, believe and
you shall receive (Mark 11:24). He is trying to get
your mind renewed to the place where you can
believe.

There are three kinds of people i n the world:

"The Wills", the "Won'ts" and the "Can'ts".
Try and locate yourself:
The "Wills" accomplish anything and
everything.
The "Won'ts" oppose anything and
everything.
The "Can'ts" fail at everything because
they never try.

The greatest acnievements of mankind have been

accomplished by two types of people. Those who
were smart enough to know it could be done and
those too dumb to know it couldn't.
I want you to dream big dreams. As long as you
don't know it is impossible, you can do it. But if
you keep saying, "I can't" you never will. You have
got to get out of the boat. You have got to do some-
thing about your dream.
