MLA Heading
Example:
The goddess, Swiftie, is the goddess of song writing. Swiftie quietly sits at Starbucks on the corner of
41st Street and Park Avenue and writes songs about people she observes. She then catalogs the songs
alphabetically and by subject in her shiny burgundy briefcase. Don’t get this goddess confused with
Cupid. She certainly does not make people fall in love, but rather uses her songs heal people from their
problems or sickness. One of Swiftie’s many symbols includes 13 thin, black mechanical pencils and a
sky blue journal. She lives in a quaint tree house in Central Park, right next to Columbus Circle and the
Museum of Natural History. Even though her Greek name is Swiftie, the commoners know her better
by her Roman Name, Felicia.
