OBJECTIVE : Enhance My Capability to learn upon providing a better service and


health education that promote a healthy lifestyle in the family that is live in
Baranggay Capo City of ILgan .

- Good morning Self I Just Started My Day With Confident and Full Of excitement,
maybe You Wonder Why? well Because Today is My First Day Of Duty In
Community of Capo. To be honest Self This Community Is really Far away from The
Village , the road is not that Good And yet you Have To Cross the Bridge Just To get
enter To there Community . But self I was so Impressed because even do the They're
are far away They have a very Good and clean environment. They have a Facilities in
there which is monitored also by the Rural Health Unit Officer. This Provide them a
Health Care and Health Education. in the first Day of My Duty I learned that Nursing
Process is One Of the method that we need to Apply . This Includes The ADPIE, It
Also Includes the main Goal of A Public Health Nursing to provide a Equal and Good
quality Of Health care and education towards the people of the Community
individuals and Families. I also learned that Isn't all about skills , but also we have to
consider the attitude. we as A Public Health Nurse We have to use our commonsense,
be sensitive and Respect their Traditions , culture and Beliefs. As Of Now Self this is
my experience in The Community Of Baranggay Capo I hope To learn a lot and have
a Good and unforgettable experience. the second Day of My Duty we stay inside the
community or the Baranggay Center to evaluate our Family assessment form to
identify the health related problem , risk factors and health threat , so that we can be
able to come up with a nursing care plan and also we student nurse conduct a feeding
program and health teaching to the children on how to brush their teeth properly and
avoid cavity . after that we assigned to make a flyer about the health deficit and health
threat that we identify during our family assessment analysis . these flyers contain

knowledge that may help our chosen family to improve there health status and may
enlighten there mind to prevent complication and the risk factors that is present in the
environment . in the third day we also witness the proper way to get a hemoglobin test
through the help of our seniors which is the level three and we also do that to know
our own hemoglobin count . this test is to identify the present of anemia . in the last
day of our Duty in Baranggay Capo . We conduct know the health teaching or what
we called implementation towards in our assigned family .we use our flyers as a
visual presentation that contains all the information , including the definition of the
symptoms , complication , proper way to avoid it and the benefits if they was be able
to put it in practice . but also as a student nurse we must convinced them to put it in
practice for the sake of there family health status . My duty in Capo taught me to be
good at communicating and be confident . Because nursing home visit is a family and
nurse contact which allows the health worker to evaluate the home and family
conditions or situation in order to provide the necessary nursing care and health
associated activities.
