1
#1. STEP- CLIENT MEETING
- Before all of you need to learn a skill set.
- Meet with the client and make a familiar relation with
him.
- Learn a few communication techniques.
- Most importation makes you perfect in “CSPO” formula.
(For this the “CSPO” formula please attend the Master
Planner Training Webinar- your entire planning concepts
will clear).

2
#2 STEP- PLOT MEASUREMENTS
- First of all fix al
all, corners then measure them m.
- Check on-site
site condition
conditions for good planning (all
directions & possibilities).
- Which measurement is good manual or electronic?
It is depending from the project to project.
- Be aware while measuring if you miss anything or are
not careful then it will cost you more time because of
re-measureme
measurements nts as well as redesigning all the plans &
designs.

3
#3 STEP- TAKE A CLIENT REQUIREMENT IN DETAILS.
- While taking client requirements don’t miss anything &
note down each & every detail they want.
- In the beginning, it is a little hard but after a few project,
you will understand it is just a piece of cake.
- Most important note down client routine as well as
observe members.

4
#4 STEP- PITCH FREE HAND SKETCH AT THAT TIME AS
PER THERE REQUIREMENTS.
- You should expert on this because this is the exact
situation where your client will close.
- That’s why you should perfect floor planning because in
the first meeting they will discuss only two topics first is
planning & another is budgeting.
- You can learn to budget on any YouTube video or you
can tell them roughly as well but,
There is no option for floor planning & designing. &
there are a lot of stuff behind perfect floor planning
which we are going to expose in our training webinar.

5
#5 STEP- CREATE 2-3 FLOOR PLAN ALTERNATIVES AS
PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
- Yes, you read right you need to design at least 2-floor
plan options because we don’t know what is the exact
pitcher of house in his/her mind.
- While designing a floor plan learn a few things like-
planning impact, zoning, the effect of requirements on
planning & execution (if you want to learn all those
concepts please attend “Master Planner Training
Program”).
- Floor Planning is the base of every architectural design
so learn it properly first.

6
#6 STEP- EXPLAIN TO THE CLIENT & FINALIZE THE
FLOOR PLAN OR EDIT & OPTIMIZE & THEN FINALIZE IT.
- Show them all of your alternatives & explain them.
- Finalize one of them or optimize it because without
finalizing the floor plan we cannot go further.
- PS: before discussing any plan with the client check
twice. We should play safe.

7
#7 STEP- DISCUSS BUILDING ELEVATION WITH CLIENT
& IDENTIFY THE CLIENT INTEREST.
- Every client has their own perception & interest so first
of all identify it, otherwise, your entire elevation design
& time will be less. So be aware.
- Whenever designing elevations think about on-site
execution as well as think about elevation material.
- It should not only aesthetic it should practical, usable,
and sensible as well.

8
#8 STEP- DESIGN 2-3 ALTERNATIVES WITH DIFFERENT
STYLE & PATENT.
- (Remember floor plan & building elevation is the most
important thing from the client’s perspective.)
- Finalize floor plan & font elevation carefully then go
ahead.
- Those two are the most important drawings from the
client perspective as well as project perspective so...
finalizes both planning & elevation very cares fully.

9
#9 STEP- AFTER THAT LOCATE A COLUMN IN FLOOR
PLAN & DECIDE FLOOR HEIGHT
(ASK TO THE CLIENT FOR HEIGHT THEN FINALIZE).
- Finalize all floor heights so you can easily go towards
further drawings.
- Height is also a very essential factor don't miss it &
ask Clint at least once because might be there would be
a different plan in the client's mind... in this case, if you
design all other detail drawings & working drawings
then.... you know what will happen so ask once.

10
#10 STEP- DESIGN ALL STRUCTURAL DESIGN
DRAWING FROM FOUNDATION TO TILL SLAB &
OTHER FLOORS AS WELL.
- Don’t go solo, if you are a structural & architectural
designer then it’s ok.
- But if you are not professional then hire a structural
designer because our entire building will stand only on
his/her structure design & safety first.
- Design all the drawings like- Foundation, plinth, sill,

lintel, slab & same for all above floors.

11
#11 STEP- ELEVATION DETAIL DRAWINGS-
- Analyze elevation design properly & finalize elevation
detailed working drawings. (we can design elevation
detail drawings before structural design)
- Mention all the concepts behind it as well as material
use.
- Elevation detail drawings are almost the most important
working drawings for elevation design so be careful full
& check each & every detail before delivering to civil
contractor.
- Compound wall & gate design as per elevation design &

client requirements.

12
#12 STEP- DESIGN CENTRELINE PLAN-
- Based on structural design of foundation details.
(Countercheck all centres before layout demarcation).
- If your foundation is perfect as per drawing then there
could be a lot of chances of success.
- In this field start of the project should be perfect at any
cost.

13
#13 STEP- CREATE DETAIL DIMENSION PLAN
- Detail dimension plan is very important for missionary
work, ground floor & all above floor as well.
- As well as it is necessary for door & window placements.
- I think this is the easiest drawing in the architectural
project.

14
#14 STEP- OPENING SCHEDULE
- Design all floor plan opening schedules at a time.
- Provide all details like door, windows, ventilator, arches,
frame size & material, etc.
- In this section, you should design at least 3 sheets
1. Labelled openings in the floor plan.
2. Proper schedule as per labelled floor plan.
3. Design opening elevation & here give more details
about.

15
#15 STEP- STAIRCASE DETAIL DESIGN
- There is a lot of staircase type but, we need to
understand which staircase type is suitable for our
project.
- In the staircase design counter check the entire design if
there is something lacking then fill it & design a detailed
working drawing.
- In Staircase design & detailed working drawings you
should mention all the important factors like tread,
riser, landing, width, headroom, etc.

16
#16 STEP- ELECTRICAL LAYOUT
- First of all study basic things about the electrical layout
so we can design it exactly as per client as well as
project need.
- Project to project could be different & it Is totally based
on practical use.
- And in this drawing, we need to give all details like
switch board position height, all electrical appliances &
their operations, one way two ways, etc.
- (There is a lot of extra stuff we need to understand for
perfection).

17
#17 STEP- DRAINAGE LAYOUT
- Drainage layout is also one of the most important
drawings.
- Doesn’t matter project is big or small but if drainage
system will fail human being will not going to stay there
in fact every drainage should be perfect as per condition
- Whenever you will design drainage layout study all
important concepts alike- type of pipes, traps, clearance
spaces, IC & most important sloping.

PS: Always design drainage layout from top floor to

ground floor.

18
#18 STEP- FLOOR DESIGN
- There is a lot of option s available in the market for floor
design, but most people prefer tile or stone.
- But, Tile pattern or stone design it is totally depend on
client need, requirement & interior designs.
- Toilet interior:- toilet tiles patterns/design options +
kitchen platform as per client selection.
- In this both cases we need to design drawings as per
project & layout. (it is totally depending on project)

19
#19 STEP- DOOR & WINDOW DESIGN
- Door & windows designs are also totally based on client
requirement & budget, because there is lot of options
available in the market.
- This is a starting part of interior work so, if you are
designing a interior as well to think about all the interior
concepts as well as standards & aesthetic sense.

20
#20 STEP- FINISHING STAGE-
- At this stage go through a putty>> then primer>> & then
painting/texture as per client requirements or as per
your interior design concept.
- This is a part of the interior, if clients think about proper
interior designing then guides them.
PS: think about the entire combination of floor, ceiling,
curtains, furniture & color while painting.

21
#21STEP- INTERIOR WORK-
- There is a lot of things on the interior actually interior is
a combination of all things like- false ceiling (POP),
furniture, all aesthetic color combination, etc.
- It is totally part of interior design.

PS: Learn interior as well so you can add more revenue

in your pocket from the same project.
