Guidelines for Lesson Plans
Lesson plans are like road maps and a good road map needs to have detailed information to
guide you. Your lesson plan for each demonstration should include at least the following
elements:
1) Students’ names
2) Objectives
3) Topic
4) Language content
5) Timing for each activity, stage or step
6) Clear labeling of each step/stage of the framework being used
7) Detailed description of each step and what students will be doing in each step of the
lesson
8) Materials needed for each activity
