[The following can help to increase hand sensitivity.

Please
read through everything at least once, or more, before starting.]

You must be able to relax. To calm both the body AND the mind
before you even begin. Therefore......

Practice the following in a room where no one can interrupt you,


no alarm clocks can go off, no doorbells, nor anything else, unplug
OR turn off your phone, etc. Even draw the shades if the sun is too
bright. [Tho some people relax better with the sun, and others
find shade calming. Yet others find a way to benefit from both.
Do what works best for you as an individual.]

* Sit comfortably, in a chair if you want, as long as it has a straight


back. Posture is important for balanced & aligned chakras, opening the
flow of ki or prana. However, it is equally important to be able to
maintain sitting for a while, therefore it must be comfortable.

Next, your mind may challenge, thinking: "This is stupid," or "What


a waste of time!" Or something else. Just tell you mind to be quiet;
and/or that it can think these thoughts later, just not right now.
Often that gives the mind a little peace.

* You need to know a form of Deep Breathing, and the "Course" in this
e-groups Files section contains information regarding how to do that.
Though many all ready know. In case not, the basics are:

Inhale through nose: Draw breath first down into the lowest part of
abdomen, continue to draw it into the next higher part until you are
filled up, going up filling lungs, shoulders & throat, even the sinus
cavities. Don't worry if you're not perfect at this. Details don't
matter so much. What matters is that you inhale SLOWLY.
To the count of 8 is good.

Exhale through nose: The same thing, just in reverse! :) To unlike


other breathwork, you are NOT releasing toxins (they will take care of
themselves), you are releasing prana/healing. Not to worry, you need not
do a thing for this to happen, it's natural, as long as you don't
mentally contradict it. You're just releasing what looks like white
sunbeams or particles.

Now, MAINTAIN that Deep Breathing until it starts to come with ease,
without much effort. You need to maintain this breathwork throughout
the entire Healing process. In some cases a little effort may be needed,
or at first, but don't worry yourself over it and just do what you can.
Worry counteracts relaxation & healing.

* Moving on: Next RUB hands together. This will increase both blood
circulation AND ki/prana. Long story short, where you have more of
the one, you have more of the other. So feel the increased blood flow
which will wake you up to feeling increased prana. Notice how much more
sensitive your hands are already starting to get! Take the "time"
to 'think' about these things.

[You can rub your hands together as often as needed throughout this.
And over time, it may no longer be needed then can be discontinued
if you wish.]
So the GROUNDWORK is now set for increased relaxation & increased
sensitivity. If you are not relaxed when doing any of the above,
then modify whatever you need to modify, in order to get relaxed!

* Now for a little exercise. Hold your hand up BUT let it go


limp at wrist. (Put elbow on table or on something so your arm won't
get tired.) Limp will bring you to the point of relaxation also.
...When I was a child our school teacher taught the class a way to
test & see if our hand was really limp. She would pick it up,
hold it in mid air ... limp, and when we least expected it, drop
it. If your hand is truly limp, you will "not" hold it in mid air
for that second when you "think" they will drop it. Rather it will
IMMEDIATELY fall down by the force of gravity. Of course, this
can't be done when you are alone and practicing this entire
mini-lesson, so if you have any trouble letting your wrist /hand go
limp, you might first try this part in the presence of a friend who
can help you in the same manner my school teacher did. :)

After your hand / wrist can easily fall limp... you are ready
to further increase hand awareness.

Start by running a FEATHER or LIGHT TOUCH from your


opposite hand,
over the parts of the hand that you wish to be able to feel more,
usually the palm &/or fingertips. Stop & think about it a moment.
Yes, of course this is physical and you will feel it automatically
BUT what it also does is wake up your awareness! :) [A few times
may be needed to do so, and that is fine.] After you've done that...
Next think /remember how that felt, then try to recreate the
feeling with your mind by IMAGINING yourself tickling your hand or
fingers again just as you did with the feather etc., but this time
mentally recall how it felt, what you did to feel that way, etc.
And feeeeeeeeeeeel it.

AFTER that :)... no rush on any of this ..... now try to become aware of
your pulse that is automatically pulsing/beating thru your entire body,
including your hand! - You may or may not feel this, but if you are deep
breathing, 'not' worried over success but instead, relaxed in body AND
mind, you're much more likely to feel it. If not, no big deal.

Next, focus your attention on the part of your hand you believe to be
most sensitive, the part you feel things most easily with. For some its
fingertips, for others its palm chakra, others the thumb, etc. Only you
know this, or test & find it. Just pick, then focus on it mentally. You
can look at it too if you want.

Run the invisible mental feather over it. Then try to recreate the
feeling as done above. A good one to get the palm chakra awakened is
to gently press your thumb or some finger into the center of the
opposite hands palm. It awakens it!

Yes, it also increases blood circulation, but one thing many don't
know is that you can't have more blood circulation without more prana!
So you are increasing both & not just the one. You will begin to feel
both, often not initially recognizing if the prana is part of what you
feel, but it almost always is. :) Got tingling? You've got prana!
Next, recall when you may have put your hand out a window as
a child and felt a warm breeze, or something else similar. Try to
recreate the feeling mentally by focusing on your hand in this way.

Remember the feeling as a child when you rubbed a balloon, stuck it


to the wall and it stayed? And if you touched it you felt electricity?
That is similar to what you may feel in your hands BUT not necessarily
as strong. So tune in, think of no worries, peace, and try to
give extra attention to noticing if you feel that - or some other
sensation as their are a variety of sensations different folks feel.

* DONE :) Now you have INCREASED your energy levels.

Understand, even if this did not cause you to feel something in your
hands - know that "regardless" of whether you feel or don't feel
something, it is still working! You are still increasing & running
energy.

This is an invisible energy; so like gravity too is invisible,


chi / prana you may not see but it is working - nevertheless,
it still is!

Therefore know with confidence that it is NOT required to feel energy in


order to use it. It's fun, its rewarding, but it's not necessary! Matter
of fact, there are some very, "very" expert healers who feel nothing at
all - yet can heal very well.

There are also others who wake up to the feelings LATER ON, taking time
and practice to get there.

So do not get discouraged. Even, recognize that as your own doubting


mind, whereas now you're learning some new details. Please keep going
through the motions.

A man I read about, he never felt a thing, but always went through
the motions/steps, and healed people! :) He actually become a healer.
So go through the steps, the ones here & those in the Course in files
section. Then whether you feel the energy or dont, it will take care
of the rest the way electricity or any other invisible force would.

* Last but not least: Since your hands are filled up with energy now,
use it! Just PLACE YOUR HANDS anywhere on your body that
needs
healing. Or on a sick plant, a willing pet if you or a neighbor has
one, or even Mother Earth/Bhumi. Just visualize it being released
upon your exhale. Then deeply inhale again, and start all over,
naturally flowing. ...
