PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
LIFE CANVAS TECHNOLOGIES October 2022 – January 2023
Principal Scientist October 2022 – Present
 Business development with primary focus on developing long-term partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.
 Determine how LCT services fit into various pre-clinical pipelines regardless of API delivery. With intent to assist
in pre-IND/IND applications. Applied spatial proteomics on animal model of Alzheimer’s Disease as well as
different tissue types (spine, liver, lung, muscle etc.) from rodents, NHP, and swine. Focus on liver was to use
spatial proteomics identify Hepatocytes, Kupffer Cells, and endothelial cells.
 Project manage projects for different clients and ensure deliverables are provided in a timely manner.
 Lead team to ensure deliverables are provided as promised in SOW and MSA.

PURETECH HEALTH July 2019 – September 2022

Principal Scientist March 2022 – September 2022
 Continued development and implementation of imaging technology to study/quantify surveillance of CNS by
immune cells (resident macrophages, dendritic cells, neutrophils, etc.) in intact preclinical models of
neurodegeneration. Focus was to determine if implanted, engineered, bone marrow derived monocytes could
secrete therapeutic levels of VEGFc.
 Design and develop probes for IVIS to quantify and study immune surveillance status of the CNS (deep cervical
lymph nodes). Our goal was to prevent or reduce age/disease-related decline as evidenced by reduced lymphatic
flow to CNS and lymph nodes.
 Started use of mirror bed on IVIS for simultaneous imaging of dorsal and ventral regions of rodents during tracer
infusion.
 Employ STED microscopy and antibody IgG modifications to characterize nanoparticles and determine location in
chylomicrons.
 Completed Translational Science certification.
 Lead/train team with the implementation of new technology in drug/therapeutic development.

Senior Scientist July 2019 – March 2022

 Developed and implemented imaging technology (2-photon, confocal, SWIR wide-field microscopy, IVIS, etc.) to
study/quantify immune surveillance of system of CNS in an intact preclinical models of neurodegeneration (age-
related, Alzheimer’s, EAE). Imaged cultured monocytes to determine extent of transfection intended to prevent
differentiation into macrophages.
 Utilized western blotting and ELISA to determine amount of mature VEGFc in meningeal tissue of young and old

 Utilized imaging to study mesenteric lymph nodes in vivo with emphasis on determining pharmacokinetics of
prodrug delivery to lymph after oral gavage.
 Delivered tracers/anesthetics/prodrug via different routes (IV, IT, IM, IP, ICV, PO)
 Started Translational Science certification.
 Led/trained team with the implementation of new technology in drug/therapeutic development.

Assistant Project Scientist, Step IV (Department of Physics) 2017 – 2019
 Maintained cell cultures (CNiFERs: Cell-based Neurotransmitter Fluorescent Engineered Reporters) as well as
generated dose response curves for neurotransmitters cells that were designed to detect dopamine,
noradrenaline, and acetylcholine.
