connection with the TAMIL NADU COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (TANCET-2023) and COMMON
ENGINEERING ENTRANCE TEST AND ADMISSION (CEETA-PG-2023)

PRESS RELEASE

The Government of Tamil Nadu through its G.O.(MS) No. 14, dated: 24.01.2023 of
Higher Education Department (J2) has authorized Anna University to conduct

(i) To conduct the TAMIL NADU COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (TANCET) 2023 for
admission to M.B.A. & M.C.A. Degree Programmes offered in:

a. University Departments of Anna University, Chennai – 600 025


b. Anna University Regional Campuses / Constituent Colleges.
c. Annamalai University
d. Government & Government Aided Engineering Colleges.
e. Government & Government Aided Arts & Science Colleges.
f. Self-financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges / including stand-
alone Institutions) under Government Quota

for admission through Centralised Single Window Counselling.


(ii) To conduct the COMMON ENGINEERING ENTRANCE TEST AND ADMISSION
(CEETA-PG) 2023 for admission to M.E. I M.Tech. I M.Arch. I M.Plan. Degree
Programmes offered in:

a. University Departments of Anna University, Chennai – 600 025


b. Anna University Regional Campuses / Constituent Colleges.
c. Annamalai University
d. Government Engineering Colleges.
for admission through Centralised Single Window Counselling.

Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Technical Institutions funded by Central


Government affiliated to Anna University may also join in this admission process. Self-
Financing Engineering College may also use CEETA-PG score for their admission process.

In this regard, a detailed advertisement is given in the leading dailies on 29.01.2023 (SUNDAY) for
the benefit of student’s community and the online registration commences on 01.02.2023. The Last
date of Registration of Application is 22.02.2023

This year TANCET/CEETA-PG is to be conducted in 14 cities in Tamil Nadu in the following dates

TANCET – M.C.A. – 25.03.2023(FN)


TANCET – M.B.A. – 25.03.2023(AN)
CEETA-PG (M.E.IM.Tech.IM.Arch.IM.Plan) – 26.03.2023(FN)

All the necessary details are posted in the Web portal: https://tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet
(This portal is common for TANCET/CEETA-PG – 2023)

NOTE: 1. The applicants are advised to go through the Procedure For Online
Registration and Keep that form filled-in by hand for error-free Data entry
during ONLINE Registration

2. The applicants are also advised not to rush on the very first day for ONLINE
Registration.
