Level: Pre-Intermediate
AIMS: Skills: To develop the skills of reading for gist and
reading
for details in a holiday brochure.
Grammar: To understand the use of 1st conditional
Statements in an authentic context.
There is a reading task where they discuss the benefits
of this type of holiday and a mingling activity where
they can find out about their classmates’ experiences.
Students will also learn 1st conditional statements.

Warm up Good morning boys, girls, guys.


Start (4 min) Ask questıon:
How are you? How is the weather?
Warm up Teacher revises some useful vocabulary with learners
Middle (8 min) to speak about Holidays and Travel.
- Did you go on holiday last year?
-If you want to go somewhere Where do you prefer to
go on vacation?
A normal or unusual place‫؟‬Why?
Do you like to be in nature and have a memorable
experience?
Where do you prefer to stay?
Explore places to go on holiday with Images.
Pre-Reading Show the original photo and give the brochure to the
