3MS-Lesson of Comparative

The 3rd year lesson plan compares countries using adjectives of comparison such as larger, bigger, and more populated. It begins with a warmup asking students about pictures of countries. Next, students read texts and answer questions to compare the size and population of Algeria and France. The lesson then isolates example sentences using comparative adjectives and analyzes their structure. Students are taught the rules for forming short and long adjectives of comparison and complete practice activities comparing additional countries on attributes such as size, population, temperature, and beauty.
