Task 1 – Simple Query and Report - Part 1

Create a Report for the following scenarios. Remember before you create the report
you must create the Query. Identify whether each task is completed in a query or
report or could be done in both.

Report 1: (Title: Apple Phones )
• Show the following Fields only: Customer Name, Model, Brand, Price, Extras
• Show only the records which include: Model – Apple --- Query
• Sort: Price: Descending --- Query/Report
• Fits on a single page wide with a page orientation of Portrait --- Report
Report 2: (Title: Khuram Majid Sales)
• Show the following Fields only: Customer Name, Model, Brand, Sales Person, Date of
Purchase, Extras
• Show only the records which include: Sales Person - Khuram Majid
• Sort: Date: Descending
• Fits on a single page wide with a page orientation of Landscape

• Sorts the data into Descending order of Brand
• Search criteria for Price > 250
• Insert a new field called Insurance which is calculated at run-time – You need to
multiply the Price by 10 % (0.1)

Produce a Report:

• Calculate the Total Sum of the Insurance
