 Read about Tom’s favourite sports.

My favourite sport is sailing. I like practising it in summer. I go to my grandmother’s house


near the sea and my sister and I catch the grandma's small boat and we go far away from
the beach. In the water we can see different coloured fish, corals, turtles and seahorses.
I also like rollerblading and cycling. I am in a club called "Wheels Club" and we ride our
bikes or rollerblades every weekend. Before we talk about trips it is very important to
talk about safety and the rules for rollerblading and cycling.
- We always wear a helmet.
- We use elbow and knee pads for rollerblades. They protect you if you fall.
- When you ride, don’t use the MP3 player because you can’t hear and it can be
dangerous.
- We wear shorts or tight trousers when we ride our bikes.
- When we are in the street, we go one behind the other. We never ride or skate side by
side.
- We always follow the traffic rules when we ride or skate in the street.
If you follow all the traffic rules, you are safe and you have a good time.
